(Minghui.org) The annual San Diego Earth Day Fair was held at Balboa Park, San Diego, California on April 21, 2024. The organizer invited Falun Gong practitioners to teach the cultivation’s exercises on site.
The San Diego Earth Day Fair was first celebrated in 1970. Over the past few years, tens of thousands of people have participated every year. There were more than 140 booths at the day’s event, including health, environmental protection, and food.
When San Diego Falun Gong practitioners applied for a booth three months ago, the organizer informed them that it was already booked up. However, a few weeks before the event, the organizer contacted Falun Gong practitioners and invited them to teach the exercises at the health booth set up by the organizer.

Maria and her husband Fernando said that they wanted to find out more about Falun Gong (also called Falun Dafa) after learning the exercises. Fernando said, “I can feel good energy, and this energy makes me feel comfortable.” He also said that it feels very good to have such a face-to-face experience of teaching and learning the exercises.
A young lady named Cameron ran up to learn the exercises upon seeing practitioners teaching Falun Gong. She said that when she practiced martial arts in a park in the morning, she always saw Falun Gong practitioners doing the exercises. At that time, she wanted to join in, too. Now she finally seized the chance to learn and plans to join the weekend morning exercises in the park.
