Practitioners in Detroit

Because the Teacher has sped up the Fa Rectification, the need for practitioners outside China to clarify the truth has become increasingly urgent.

Recently, and especially since the Teacher's lecture in San Francisco, the practitioners in Detroit clearly feel the urgent nature of this task. Lately, clarifying the truth to the American people has become easier. In fact, people have come to us to learn the truth.

In the past few days, two different news sources from two different media interviewed our practitioners on their own initiative.

On November 3, Detroit radio station WPON (1460 AM) broadcast live interviews of two practitioners by Dr. Aiello between 11:00am to 12:00pm. Program host Dr. Aiello, a massage therapist, learned of Falun Gong from news of the current situation in China, and then read some Falun Gong literature from the Internet. Because he had some understanding of Falun Gong already, also because of being a massage therapist, his questions were relatively deep and at times penetrating. The two practitioners gave very good answers. He could not understand at all why some people in the Chinese government persecute Falun Gong so stubbornly. He was happy that practitioners in America could practice Falun Gong freely. He was very respectful of the fact that the Dafa from the Teacher has attracted over 100 million people all over the world in merely 8 years. Toward the end of the program, Dr. Aiello asked the two practitioners how to start cultivation and where to find Dafa books. He also announced the number for the Falun Gong information line. Dr. Aiello originally had more questions for the practitioners, but due to limited time, he could not ask them all. He indicated that he would invite practitioners to be guests in his program again. The two practitioners pleasantly accepted the invitation.

After the program was over, Dr. Aiello chatted with the two practitioners for a long time, asking further questions about Falun Dafa cultivation, and showing a great interest in Dafa. He also invited practitioners to eventually teach Falun Gong at an appropriate time at the martial arts school he attends. The two practitioners pleasantly accepted that invitation tation WPON in Detroit covers the entire greater Detroit area and also Windsor City in Canada across the river from Detroit.

On November 5, Detroit local station Channel 7 (ABC) in its "Health and Life" program from (10:00 to 10:30 a.m. weekday mornings) broadcast an interview with practitioners by program host Carolyn Clifford.

While The host questioned a few practitioners about Falun Gong, seven other practitioners, one only eight years old, demonstrated the first exercise. The peaceful demeanor of the practitioners and the graceful and beautiful exercise left very good impressions on the audience. The program host also mentioned the ban on Falun Gong instituted by the Chinese government a year ago.

During the program recording process, when the music started, almost all the practitioners at the site clearly felt the Falun's rotation in the body and the energy flow.

We can freely practice here, even get invited to demonstrate the exercises on TV programs, and introduce Dafa to audience in radio stations. Thinking of fellow practitioners in China, we realize again the importance and urgent nature of clarifying the truth to people in the world.
