French EU Congressman Sends Letter to Chinese Premier Urging the Release of Zhao Ming


[Clear Wisdom, France] Mr. Alain Lipietz, an EU congressman from France, has recently sent an appeal letter to Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji. In his appeal letter, he expressed his concerns about the persecution of Zhao Ming, a student at Trinity College in Ireland and a Falun Gong practitioner, as well as many other jailed Falun Gong practitioners.

Mr. Lipietz called on China to carry out an independent investigation on the torments that Zhao Ming and many other practitioners are experiencing. Mr. Lipietz also urged the Chinese government to stop persecuting those who peacefully practice their beliefs.
