Recently, a practitioner in Peru wrote an open letter to the ambassador and the other staff members of the Chinese Embassy in Peru. His letter said:

"During the last two years of cultivating Falun Dafa, I never had the opportunity to meet Master Li. No one has ever asked me for even one penny, or any kind of monetary donation. The only thing I have done is to follow the teachings in Zhuan Falun, be a good person, and upgrade both my mind and body. I obtained so much from Falun Gong that I cannot express those benefits clearly in words. I suffered from many chronic illnesses such as, osteoarthritis and sciatica for more than ten years. After practicing Falun Gong all of the illnesses disappeared. I have become healthier, younger looking, and more energetic. I don't even need to keep any medicine, tonics, or dietary supplements in my house now."

He also wrote: "In addition to using underhanded tactics like telephone eavesdropping, you also harass Dafa practitioners in Peru using threatening phone calls. Those behaviors have set a new low in damaging human rights in Peru. Instead of repenting for your wrong doings, you keep distributing rumors about Falun Gong in order to mislead those who haven't learned the truth. Everything you have done is being recorded here. You obstructed overseas Chinese people from learning Falun Gong; you ordered some local Chinese newspapers to withhold articles that introduce Falun Gong; you asked Chinese news stands to stop selling Falun Gong books; and you persuaded a Chinese newspaper to publish articles slandering Falun Dafa. What you have done not only violates the international human rights treaty but also spreads evil thoughts among kind and honest people in Peru."

"The net of Heaven may have a large mesh, but it lets nothing through. The unprecedented persecution and injustice of Falun Gong imposed by Jiang Zemin will come to an end in the near future. Good will be rewarded with good, and evil with evil.As Jiang's accomplice in persecuting Falun Gong, you still have opportunity to make a right choice, that is, to give up your wrongdoing and follow your own conscience."
