Tibet is a special place; most people there believe in Buddha. Because the cultivation way of Falun Dafa is so different from their Esoteric Sect, people are usually unwilling to try it from the very beginning. However, the Buddha Fa is boundless. Gradually, more and more people have started to practice Falun Dafa in Tibet. Especially after Jiang Zemin's brutal crackdown on Falun Gong, more people have realized that Falun Dafa is an orthodox Fa; they began to show their sympathy and accepted Falun Dafa. As Master said, "Falun Dafa will get the best promotion every time the evil persecutes us."

A few people from Tibet have been willing to act as an accomplices to Jiang Zemin in persecuting Falun Gong. They used various unlawful methods to keep practitioners from the outside world, such as strictly limiting practitioners' freedom. Without their permission, practitioners can't leave Tibet for any reason. Such an action is treated as a violation of the law.

Police, their work places and community centers supervise local practitioners. Even family members are asked to take part in such supervision; otherwise they will be punished. A practitioner from Tibet University even needs to report when going shopping. An employee of China Bank, Shang Zeng (an ethnic Tibetan), is confined at home. Visitors to his home are required to register, and practitioners will be arrested if they pay a visit to him.

During November and December 2000, Tibet museum hosted a Falun Gong vilification exhibit produced in Beijing. The propaganda agency ordered leaders of all work places to send their staff to see the exhibit; no absences were allowed.

In August 2000, two women from Larsa's Environmental Bureau wrote letters to the Civic Government and Li Peng, the chairman of the National People's Representative Committee. They were sentenced to two years in jail, just because they wanted to tell the truth about Falun Gong.

In July 2000, a couple from Tibet Lajin Electricity Station went to Beijing to appeal. They were arrested in Tiananmen Square and sentenced to three years in jail. In

June 2000, Fu Xiping from the Archives of Tibet Autonomous Region was arrested in Chengdu on her way to Beijing to appeal. She was sentenced to two years.

But Dafa practitioners aren't giving way to the malicious power; they are bravely validating Dafa in various ways.
