In December 2000, a Chinese radio station in Australia named 2AC launched a hotline program for Chinese in Australia to discuss issues related to Falun Gong. A practitioner was told by his friend (a non-practitioner), "2AC radio station has a hotline program on Falun Gong. So far, only people who were ignorant about Falun Gong had called in, and they said many things bad about Falun Gong. Why don't some of you practitioners call in?" After learning this, the practitioner contacted the host of the program. The host agreed that from December 18 to December 22, Falun Gong practitioners would be allowed to call in and have free discussions during the one-hour program.

On December 18, the first person who called the hotline didn't know the truth, and asked some questions on issues that had confused him. A practitioner then called the hotline and addressed those issues. However, whenever the practitioner said something incongruent with the host's ideas, the host would interrupt and interject questions that were very difficult to deal with. The listeners all sensed that the host was biased. After the program, the practitioners decided not to argue with the host as he was too biased, and as no one was qualified to comment on our teacher and Dafa (great law and universal principle); it would be more worthwhile to clarify the persecution of Falun Gong in China.

On December 19, a practitioner called the hotline about 10 minutes ahead of time. This practitioner talked about the cruel persecution of Falun Gong and its practitioners, by Jiang Zemin and his cohorts. He also talked about why this persecution was against the law, the constitution, and a violation of human rights. Three more practitioners then talked about their own experiences of how they were arrested and detained during their trip to China. They told the listeners, "Our teacher and Dafa are righteous."

During the one-hour program, one could sense the host was nervous and apprehensive. He shortened the five-day discussion to three days.

On December 20, to everyone's surprise, the host announced that the discussion was cancelled. Thus, the discussion only lasted two days. Just like our teacher said in "Rationality" : "Your current performance as Dafa disciples is outstanding. All of your benevolent conduct is what the wicked forces fear most, as those who attack goodness are bound to be evil. The actions they are now adopting in the crackdown against practitioners and Dafa are extremely wicked and disgraceful, and they fear these will be exposed."
