The Recent Report about Hunan Province Violates Human Rights

When it was getting close to the first spring festival of the lunar calendar of the new millennium, Jiang Zemin and his followers in Hunan again launched another large-scale persecution on Falun Gong.

Around Jan. 15th, the news of arresting Falun Gong practitioners was spreading all over the province. Local government in Yueyang city said, anybody who had been to Beijing to appeal would be detained unconditionally, while the government in Changsha city distributed the instruction about this new round of "crackdown orders", every workplace having Falun Gong practitioners was given the right of "requirement of forced labor re-education (on those Falun Gong practitioners)". Whenever the leader of the workplace felt a practitioner was hard to "change", then the leader could report the practitioner to the political-legal organs and get the permission to send the practitioner to a Labor Camp immediately. Soon after, every place in the province took action. The action heated up on Jan. 18th, almost every city sent out police to arrest practitioners from their homes, searched their homes and confiscated property. Currently, there is no information about how many practitioners were arrested.

The list of practitioners who had been illegally sent to labor camps in Ningxiang town, Changsha city:

Tan Juanyun, female, 37 years old, from Qianshui village, Baimaqiao. She had appealed twice, and was illegally sentenced to 1 year forced labor re-education;

Cai Yanyun, female, 34 years old, from Zhushantan mine in Meitanba. She distributed the material of Dafa and was illegally sentenced to 1 year forced labor re-education;

Zhou Zhengjia, male, 43 years old, the employee of Supply Center in Huitang. He was illegally sentenced to 1 year forced labor re-education.

The list of responsible persons (persecuting Falun Gong) in Ningxiang town:

Nan Zhongming, male, the head of Zhushantang mine of Energy Company in Meitanba, phone: 0731-7903045.

He led others to search practitioners' homes, beat practitioners. He changed the content of the so called "promise letter" from practitioners and posts them everywhere.

Wang Zhiqiang, the mayor of Batang town, phone: 0731-7883213.

He comes to practitioners' home anytime, at his will, during the night and confiscates their properties .

He forcefully detained practitioners in the house of a policeman, searched the practitioners' houses.

Tang Chaoyang, Dai Xiangmin, head of police station in Batang.

They cursed and attacked Dafa viciously.
