[Dalian City, Liaoning Province] The Truth behind the death of Dalian practitioner Zhou Wenzhi

Zhou Wenzhi (male, 54) was a worker at the Dalian Dahua Company. On October 26th, two security officers of his company Jiang Jie and a person with the surname of Pang (first name unknown) arrested him and took him away. That same afternoon, he was beaten to death, although the police claimed that he had died from a heart attack. When Zhou's family examined the body, they found that his ribs were broken, one of his kneecaps was crushed, and there were severe bruises on his face and all over his body. Furthermore, the police refused to release the results of Zhou's autopsy. Dozens of police were present to guard the body when it was cremated. Clearly, they were trying hard to cover up their heinous deeds.

According to a source close to the matter, Zhou Wenzhi was beaten to death in the second division of the Dalian police department. They then shifted the blame to the Dahua security officer. After the matter was settled, Jiang Jie was transferred to the 2nd division of the Dalian police department.

[Mainland] Spraying the words "Falun Dafa is Good"

A practitioner spray-painted the words "Falun Dafa is Good" near the front door of a local elementary school. When the children saw these words, they ran around the school excitedly, shouting "Falun Dafa is good!" repeatedly. This saying quickly became a favorite among the kids, and even while they were doing homework in the classroom, one of the students would sneak in an occasional "Falun Dafa is good!" When the kind-hearted teachers heard this, they would simply smile, but one teacher responded by saying, "I know that you won't have the nerve to write that in my dorm!" A student who also happened to be a young practitioner overheard this, and went to the dorm of that teacher. She took a small banner with the words "Clear the name of Falun Dafa" written on it with her, and intended to hang it up in the teacher's dorm. The teacher heard the young practitioner and came out to investigate. The young practitioner got away quickly. In the afternoon, the teacher searched the school for the student who tried to put up the banner, but could not find the practitioner.

[Beijing] A small experience sharing conference takes place in Beijing

On December 25th, another small scale Experience Sharing Conference took place in Beijing. Practitioners from three former practice sites in the city attended the conference. Since July 20th of last year, practitioners in Beijing have held many such conferences.

The practitioners studied Master Li's speeches in the California and Michigan Experience Sharing Conferences. They also shared their recent experiences in spreading and validating the Fa and telling the truth to the people in their daily lives. They shared the flyers that they used to tell the truth about Falun Gong, including how Jiang Zemin broke the laws in persecuting Falun Gong, how the evil forces viciously brutalized practitioners, how the Dafa is being spread widely outside of China, and some prophecy reference material. Many methods were used to spread the message, including direct mailing, posting in public places, hanging up banners, among others. They all hoped to receive constantly updated numbers on the scope of persecution and detailed examples of the practitioners' suffering (so they could update their flyers).

During the experience sharing session, the practitioners were able to let go of their earlier attachments to formalities. Instead, they truly felt like particles within the Dafa. They were able to act with self-awareness, rationality, and wisdom in dealing with any situation, including danger. They felt that they would be able to suppress wickedness with righteousness from within themselves.

Some practitioners have already begun to expose and denounce the culprits of the persecution within the parameters of the current legal system. They hope that eventually they can increase their roles in rectifying the Fa and cleaning out the wickedness once and for all.

[Gansu Province] Eyewitness accounts of the imprisonment of Gansu practitioners

Several practitioners from a certain city in Gansu Province went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa, and the Youanmen police department detained them. After they were arrested, they continued to perform the Falun Gong exercises and explain what Falun Gong was to the policemen. The policemen tried everything they could think of to get the practitioners to reveal their names and addresses, but could not succeed. Frustrated and angry, one of the pointed at a practitioner and said, "It's the stubborn cases like you that I want to give injections to, and then you'll tell us whatever we want." After this slip, he tried to cover it up by saying, "Well, perhaps you don't quite fit the requirement yet." Upon having heard this directly from the mouth of a policeman, the practitioner was shocked. He said, "You are abusing innocent common folk, I will expose your crime!" This caused the policeman to flying into a rage and finally fading into an incoherent babble at the end.

A practitioner from another city in Gansu was arrested while distributing flyers. When he asked to use the bathroom, the policeman who was in charge at the time refused and said, "No way, I want to force you to suffer from having to hold it in." After a while, the practitioner said to another policeman, "You are just too cruel to practitioners. You won't even let us go to the bathroom. " The other policeman blanched at the accusation and immediately let him go.

Another practitioner from Gansu was illegally detained for a month and released after paying a 5000 Yuan (about 10 months average salary) "bail". After being released, a policeman told the practitioner, "The government is too lenient, we should just kill all of you off secretly. A few people disappearing is no big deal." The practitioner replied, "I should write a will, saying that if I turn up missing, then I have been assassinated by the local police." After hearing this, the policeman had no more to say.

In another instance, a Gansu policeman said to a practitioner being questioned, "I think that you are all good people. I feel really bad holding you together with common criminals, but I have no other choice. We are carrying out the government's orders."

Some practitioners from a city in Gansu went to Beijing in April to appeal for Dafa. Upon returning, the local policemen searched their homes and detained them for 22 days for violating the article 1 of chapter 61 of the penal code. However, when they were released, their documentation stated that they were only detained for 8 days. It seems that the police feel their actions were illegal and want to cover themselves for the future.

[Beijing] The authorities make up excuses at will to arrest Dafa practitioners

A security officer at a local corporation said that the high-ups have issued a new decree regarding Falun Gong practitioners. It said that the practitioners are supposedly in league with the Muslim extremists who want to claim independence from China, and the practitioners are to be arrested on sight without exception. It seems that the wolf has made up a new "reason" to eat the sheep.

Several major corporations held meetings on the 27th and said that the local police arrested around 600-700 practitioners in Tiananmen Square on December 26th.

A student in his 20's was walking on the streets with his teacher at around 11PM, when suddenly a group of about a dozen young men surrounded them. They were questioned on what they were discussing, how they knew each other, etc, etc. They were first taken aback and thought they were being robbed, but later, they realized they must have run into the "constant vigilance" against Falun Gong.

[Fuyu County, Helongjiang Province] The local police force travelers to curse Falun Gong

Recently, any local resident who has to go out of town is forced to curse Falun Gong before he is allowed to get on the bus. The local residents are extremely annoyed over this. All the southbound long-distance passenger buses (toward Qiqihaer, a nearby major city) are stopped at the intersection of Jiayou Street. The police then proceed to board each bus and force each passenger to curse Falun Gong. Anyone who refuses to do so is taken off the bus and interrogated. If the passenger is found to be a Falun Gong practitioner, he is automatically arrested regardless of where he is going. It caused a great deal of anger among the local people and severely damaged the image of the government.

[Helongjiang Province] The evil deeds of the railroad police on Train #40

On December 27th, I was on a business trip and took Train #40 (from Jiagedaqi to Beijing). After the train passed the city of Harbin, the railroad police officers and train conductors began to check the tickets of the passengers. Once they held the tickets of all the passengers in their hands, they started to force each passenger to say two bad things about the founder of Falun Gong. Anyone who refused to do so would lose his ticket and get thrown off the train. Their action greatly annoyed all the passengers on board.
