After I was taken to Qilishan Police Station, I stated that Dafa (great law and universal principle) is innocent, we are not criminals, we are not bad people and they should release us. The director of that station, Bai swore at me and continually slapped my face. Another practitioner Niu Tao was hung up on the crossbeam of a cage by his handcuffs by the wicked police officer Wang Ming. Moreover, he was also forced to stand with his bare feet on the cold floor.

I was sent to Liuchangshan Detention Center. There I staged a hunger strike and was handcuffed and tied to a bed called the "Dragon Bed", which is a very inhumane instrument of torture used on severe criminals. They told me that I wouldn't be allowed to get off the bed as long as I continued the hunger strike. I had to relieve myself on the bed with help from other prisoners. A monitor was set at the other end of the bed and I didn't even know if the person was a man or a woman, so I had no privacy.

I was force-fed milk because of my long-time hunger strike. I had to stay in bed all this time, even during my menstrual period; this made it very hard to relieve myself. The other prisoners became irritated at constantly having to help me, and they wanted to leave me in the dirty bed. I was force-fed twice a day and this stained my hair and sweater with milk. Each time they force-fed me, I was lifted out of the "Dragon Bed" and four or five strong male prisoners pressed on my arms, legs and head. By the ninth day my stomach bled after the tube was inserted. I was then removed from the bed, as I demanded to see my family. (my family had been allowed to visit me in order to persuade me to take food.) At that moment, I could hardly walk. I was very weak and tired. The jailers asked me to wash my face, change my clothes and comb my hair in order to hide the evidence of their brutal torture. Moreover, 100 yuan (Chinese money unit, about $12), was demanded from my family for each feeding.

In order to get me released and save my life my work unit, Shandong Television Design Center, in fear of their power and wickedness, had to bribe the Qilishan Police Station, Liuchangshan Detention Center and one deputy director many times. At last, my family gave 5000 yuan ($600, about 10 months' wages of an average worker in China) bail to release me while I awaited trial. Because I insisted on telling the truth by appealing, my work unit was forced to fire me and dismiss me from the Party by. My husband is a serviceman and his supervisor is forcing him to divorce me. My husband and his colleagues will not be able to find a job after leaving the army simply because I practice Falun Gong.
