Conversation with a Member of the People's Congress of China


(Clearwisdom.net) I met a group of delegates from China at an international conference in Europe. When a Chinese Congress Member was leaving the conference room, I walked up to greet him.

Practitioner: How are you? I heard that there is a group of delegates from China here, so I came to see you.

Congress Member: Are you also here for a conference?

Practitioner: Yes. What conference are you here for? Concerning the economy or development?

Congress Member: We are ... only here for a day ... Too many headaches! Political problems, economic problems, they're real headaches.

Practitioner: Not surprising. Instead of paying attention to economic development, Jiang Zemin pours all his energy into persecuting Falun Gong, causing the world to focus on China's human rights issue and bringing shame to China. How could there not be headaches? How could there not be crisis everywhere? Falun Gong practitioners are good people, why would the current government do this to them?

Congress Member: (silent)

Practitioner: Here is some information for you to read. Please don't help Jiang Zemin do evil deeds any more.

Congress Member: You practise Falun Gong!? But I do not understand English!

Practitioner: Look at the pictures if you cannot read the words. Isn't there a translator among your delegates? You could ask the translator to translate it.

Congress Member: (browsing through the information pack just received)

Practitioner: I'll give you 5 more of this package, so please pass them on to others.

Congress Member: Okay. (He took the information packages and disappeared into the conference room)

The truth is the truth. Lies can no longer deceive people. Many Chinese have been twisted due to being saturated in lies, but still they know that Falun Gong practitioners are innocent.

Out of selfishness, Jiang Zemin is persecuting millions of people for practising their belief. But no matter how he tries to cover up the truth and no matter how relentlessly he persecutes people who dare to learn about Falun Gong, these two years of persecution have strengthened Falun Gong practitioners both inside and outside of China, and have allowed more and more people to learn the real story of Falun Gong. Ever since the beginning, the persecution against Falun Gong was doomed to fail. This is because what's being persecuted is the truth and millions of innocent people who simply wish to be good and to change for the better.
