Story One

On August 4, 2001, a Dafa practitioner, named Mingyue (pseudonym), was illegally arrested in a county in Beijing and taken away by the wicked police. Two crooked policemen had rushed into her house and questioned her about truth clarifying literature. She refused to cooperate with the police, but instead kindly tried to explain things to them. The two plainclothes officers did not show her any ID or procedural documentation. They didn't believe her explanation and wanted to forcefully take her away. After she refused their request, they called several more policemen to come and together they violently carried and dragged her away. Mingyue's screams attracted the attention of many villagers who witnessed her arrest. She loudly clarified the truth to the public. One police officer grabbed her neck, while another choked her throat with his arm, and others put a large rag into her mouth so that she could not speak. After arriving at the local police station, three of the leading officers brutally beat her again in order to release their own personal anger and resentment. They also forcefully shoved things, such as keys, into her mouth. Finally, they hung her up and left her alone for a long time in the room where they torture detainees.

Later, after she was brought into the police station, she immediately felt that she should leave in order to fulfill her duty during Fa-Rectification. So she sent forth righteous thoughts to disallow the thugs to see her. Soon after this, with Dafa's mighty virtues and power, she walked directly out of the police station. Now, Mingyue has rejoined the massive current of Fa-Rectification.

Story Two

On the morning of September 7, 2001, practitioner Yunxia (pseudonym) sent forth righteous thoughts in order to use divine powers to free herself from detention. As a result, she left the Chinese Medicine hospital, where she was being illegally imprisoned, with dignity. The following is Yunxia's magnificent story.

Yunxia had been wanted for over one year by the police. In order to continue practicing Falun Gong she had been wandering around far from home. In August, she was captured and imprisoned in the county detention center. To obtain undeserved recognition, the wicked police used all kinds of means to torture her. In order to protest this kind of illegal detention and atrocity, she went on a hunger strike and persisted in her belief of Falun Gong. She was extremely weak due to the torture, the grief and the hunger strike. In order to restore her physical strength so that she could be sent to a labor camp, the officers at the detention center sent her to the Chinese Medicine hospital.

At the Chinese Medicine hospital, she still refused to cooperate with the evil forces. In order to go out to validate Dafa and clarify the truth to the public, she used her divine power while she was sending forth righteous thoughts to restrain more than 10 people (including police officers and the so-called "doctors" and "nurses" that were treating her). Then she walked out of the Chinese Medicine hospital through the front door.

In July, while being watched by several police officers, guards, staff of the "610" office [an office set up specifically to supervise the campaign to persecute Falun Gong practitioners] and government officers, practitioner Zhijian (pseudonym), sent forth righteous thoughts and left the County's "Brainwashing Class," in an open and aboveboard manner.

Story Three

On the evening of June 30, 2001, while I was distributing truth-clarifying literature, I was found on the scene by a plainclothes officer. He held me from behind, and said, "I'm a police officer. You need to come with me." I replied, "Falun Dafa teaches a person to be a good person, so you should not arrest me." He did not listen to my words and asked the on-lookers to call 110 [emergency number in China] to report this to the police. The on-lookers paid no attention to his request. After a while, one bad person finally called the police and they sent a car to take me to the local police station. I refused to answer to any of their questions and was determined not to cooperate with the evil forces. Later, they dragged me from the first floor up to the third floor and handcuffed me inside an iron cage. I sent forth righteous thoughts, "The Fa rectifies the Cosmos, the Evil is completely eliminated," with the intent to get out of there because I still had Dafa's work to do outside. I sent forth righteous thoughts throughout the night that refused to allow the evil to persecute and torture me. They came to "interrogate" me the next day again, yet I still did not give them any answers. In the evening, I said these words to our Teacher, "As long as there is the slightest bit of hope, I must get out of here." After I sent forth righteous thoughts, the local police station began having troubles one after another. One police officer came to me and said, "I'll now loosen up your handcuffs a little bit." I sent forth righteous thoughts again: "Let them go to sleep quickly." Not long after that they fell asleep. I only had to make a small effort to get my hands free from the handcuffs and to walk out of the police station. I climbed over the iron gate in the courtyard. I then rejoined the effort to go to Beijing to safeguard Dafa.

In Teacher's comments, on September 8, to the article "In a Few Words: Good People" by a practitioner in China, Teacher said: "Indestructible righteous thoughts toward the cosmos' Truth form benevolent Dafa disciples' rock-solid, Vajra Bodies; they frighten all evil, and the light of Truth they emanate makes the unrighteous elements in all beings' thoughts disintegrate. However strong the righteous thoughts are, that's how great the power is."

Let us play better roles as Dafa disciples in the process of Fa-Rectification and clarifying the truth.
