Corrupt Officials in Shandong Province Persecute Falun Dafa Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) Zhang Wenjun, the Secretary of Xiguan Village XX Party Committee, Laicheng District, Laiwu City was dismissed from his post because his corruption had cut off his district's source of income to survive. He had sold off the village's land and the building housing factory workshops. All money from the land sale and from compensation for river contamination was nearly 400 million RMB Yuan (about US $48 million). However, the villagers of Xiguan Village did not get a penny. Because they had no land to cultivate crops and with the lack of alternate work, the villagers had no alternative but to appeal to the District Government.

However, Zhang Zhengquan, the Secretary of Political and Judiciary Committee, did not listen to public opinion and ignored governance for the sake of the people. Instead, he tried to drive away the people who had gone to him to appeal. Consequently, the people were boiling over with resentment. Some of them stepped forward and grabbed Zhang Zhengquan. A few policemen tried to intervene, but they were driven away by the people's reprimand, "How can you protect such a corrupt official?" (Originally he had accepted a bribe worth nearly one million Yuan. Over 300,000 Yuan was used for treatment of his mother's illness. The amount for paying his telephone bill was 280,000 to 290,000 Yuan. He also spent a huge amount of money for his daughter to run a factory).

The villagers tore off Zhang Zhengquan's shirt, which was a gift from Zhang Wenjun, the secretary of Xiguan Village Committee and worth 2,000 Yuan (the average yearly income for a villager is about 2,500 Yuan). The villagers appealed to higher-level authorities. However, the authorities in the district, city, and provincial governments had all been bribed and nobody took care of the matter. During the appeals period, six villagers were beaten so badly they had to be hospitalized. The police intimidated the villagers by saying those who continued to appeal would be arrested for "counter-revolution and rebellion." The villagers could do nothing but go to Beijing to appeal. However, Li Yumei, the City Mayor called and ordered police to intercept the villagers. The matter is now put on record and is under investigation.

Those used by Jiang Zemin to persecute Falun Dafa are all such kind of corrupt persons. It is not hard to imagine that Falun Gong practitioners in China don't have any rights. In Xiguan Village, a mother and a daughter lived together. The mother is a Falun Dafa practitioner and was detained illegally for going to Beijing to appeal several times. She is now illegally sentenced to a forced labor camp. The daughter had no choice but to be adopted by her aunt who can barely make ends meet. As a head of the village, Zhang Zhengquan did not promote justice for the villagers and did not show sympathy for the mother and daughter, but did things to help the evil forces. He slandered Falun Dafa many times and defamed Teacher Li.

Zhang Zhengquan, the Secretary of the Political and Judiciary Committee, led others to illegally search Dafa practitioners' homes many times and arrested, detained, and sentenced Dafa practitioners. He said to Dafa practitioners, "Jiang Zemin pays me, so I work for him. I'll work for whoever pays me. If you pay me, I'll work for you." His evil soul was exposed completely. A policeman said while beating a Dafa practitioner, "I don't care if you go out today to kill a person, commit arson, or rape a woman, but you just cannot practice Falun Gong." Under this abnormal psychological state, justice and evil become less important for the police and the authorities. Jiang Zemin just makes use of them to vent personal resentment. Some said, "If you continue to practice Falun Gong, I'll pour gasoline on you, drag you to Tiananmen Square and have you self-immolated."

A person once asked a policeman, "There are many villains in society that you don't arrest. Why do you arrest Falun Gong practitioners?" The policeman answered, "I can make more money arresting Falun Gong practitioners." The ignorant people are led by Jiang Zemin to commit crimes. It is because of this factor that many happy families are tormented to the point where they live without enough food and depend on help from relatives and friends. Some people fear that their relatives are suffering in jail and they can't help, so they bribe authorities to ransom them out. Once a Falun Dafa practitioner told me, "My wife spent nearly 20,000 Yuan to get me out of jail." That is why so many Falun Dafa practitioners are arrested.

In Laiwu City alone, there are over 40 practitioners who have been illegally sentenced to forced labor camps. As many as eight policemen burst into practitioners' homes about 20-30 times, carried or pulled the practitioners away by force and without any pause for explanation. Jiang Zemin and his cohorts have trampled the law in China into a complete mess. He is making Chinese people live in a more restless society with less justice and fewer human rights.

In the contest between righteous and evil, darkness and evil will be exposed completely. It is just as Teacher Li said in the article "Coercion Cannot Change People's Hearts," "the evil's persecution in China--which ignores all of its consequences--will lead people to completely distrust the ruling party and its regime, and to disobey the government. The lie-spreading propaganda machine will no longer be able to employ demagoguery. This is because at the same time that the evil persecutes Dafa, it has also arranged it so that, during the campaign, the Party's current head himself is used to destroy the Party and its regime from within the Party--this is what those being manipulated and the world's people cannot see clearly. Then the consequences of their personal resentment become an inevitability that cannot be avoided. And in this persecution, the world's people will see more clearly everything the evil has done."

In China, a country that used to be auspicious and peaceful, countless families have been broken and many people killed from Jiang Zemin's persecution against Falun Dafa. Many Falun Dafa practitioners have been tortured to death and their parents and grandparents in their 70's or 80's are left with nobody to take care of them. These elderlt people end up having to suffer from the sudden death of their children due to torture, which leaves them with painful tears. Many children are left with nobody to take care of them and their young hearts are pained for losing parents and suffering from the hardships of loneliness. The police used by Jiang Zemin cannot feel sympathy towards the kind Falun Dafa practitioners even by the sorrow of families broken and family members' death, the miserable tears of elderly people, and the heartbreaking desperation of children looking for their parents. However, not one of the police can evade the principle of "Good is rewarded with good and evil meets with evil." Falun Dafa practitioners are telling you at the risk of losing their lives that "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance" are the principles of the cosmos, and "Falun Dafa is a righteous Fa." "Good is rewarded with good and evil meets with evil" is a heavenly principle and you should not follow Jiang Zemins illegal orders of persecution, or you will face the miserable consequences for the sins committed in persecuting Falun Dafa. Teacher Li said in the article "Dafa is Indestructible," "I can tell you, all of the natural and man-made disasters that have been happening in Mainland China are already warnings for the sins the beings there have committed against Dafa. If they don't come to realize it, then the real catastrophe(s) will begin.
