Houston Practitioners Participate in the 22nd Asian American Cultural Festival


On October 20 and 21, the city of Houston held the 22nd Asian American Cultural Festival in Hermann Park. Houston practitioners learned about the festival very late and all exhibition booths were rented out. After talking to the festival committee, practitioners got permits to practice on the lawn around the exhibition booths and distribute flyers.

On October 21, practitioners came to the festival and started a day of Hongfa activities. Their exhibition boards and elegant exercise movements attracted many visitors. To let more people know the truth, practitioners talked to the organizers and got permission to use the only booth that was not rented out due to an ant problem. Many Chinese visitors got chance to talk with practitioners about the persecution situation in China. The organizers also arranged practitioners to demonstrate the Dafa exercises on stage.
