Nordic Practitioners Gather for Announcement of the Nobel Peace Prize

From October 6th to 13th, Falun Gong practitioners from Norway and Sweden gathered in Oslo to await the announcement of this year's Nobel Peace Prize winner. Nominated for the second year in a row was our teacher.

During the week before the announcement, Falun Gong practitioners performed different activities to inform people about Falun Gong. Many inhabitants in Oslo received pamphlets telling them about Falun Gong and the persecution. Falun Gong was also the subject of two different nationwide radio programs. In one of them, a Chinese Falun Gong practitioner spoke about the persecution and torture he suffered in China. Also, the newspapers wrote about Falun Gong and the situation in China.
