(Clearwisdom.net) The police in Ping'antai No. 1 Labor Camp, Gansu Province, have been ruthlessly persecuting Dafa practitioners in a brutal and inhuman way. They often hang steadfast Dafa practitioners up and beat them, then interrogate and force them to write three types of "guarantees" to give up practicing. They repeatedly beat those who refused to write the guarantees, and continue to employ this kind of torture to this day. In just a one -year period, at least seventy to eighty people have been hung up and savagely beaten in the 7th Brigade. Moreover, since August, they have forced Dafa practitioners to work over their limits during the day and made them stand still night after night, not allowing them to sleep.
Li Yu, female, 60 years old, has a bachelor's degree and is a foreign language teacher in Xifeng City No. 2 Middle School. She is held in Group 1 of Team 1 in the 7th Brigade. She has often been beaten up for firmly believing in Dafa and not writing the guarantees. During the day, she was forced do heavy labor, and every night from 10:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., she was forced to stand still outside the room for the whole night. Since last August, she has been treated like this continually. Despite the inhuman tortures, she continues to stand firm in her belief in Falun Dafa.
Qiang Weixiu, female, 30 years old, has a bachelor's degree and is a staff member of the Agricultural Machinery Bureau in Zhenyuan County, Qingyang area. She is held in Group 1 of Team 1 in the 7th Brigade. When the wicked policewomen could not get her to write the guarantee letters, they handcuffed her from her back and tied her up with a rope to the window bar, and ordered drug users to beat her. They even put her in a confinement cell for not giving up Falun Gong; however the vicious forces have never been able to make her compromise.
Li Ping, female, 30 years old, has a bachelor's degree and was employed at Yumen Oil Refinery Plant. She is held in Group 2 of Team 3 in the 7th Brigade. In June of 2001, when she refused to write the guarantee letters, the wicked police had a group of drug users (Wang Li, Wu Yan, Liu Xiaohong and others) ruthlessly beat her, leaving bruises all over her body. Blood was seen in her urine for over ten days. It was difficult for her to walk; yet they still forced her to work. In spite of such cruel treatment, the persecutors have never been able to make her compromise.
Sun Lanping, female, is a practitioner from Chengguan District, Lanzhou City. She was illegally sent to Group 4 of Team 3 in the 7th Brigade of the labor camp in July 2001. As soon as she arrived, she suffered beatings which continued for over ten days. Bruises covered her body. They tried to force her to give up her faith but the outcome was the opposite. She believes in Dafa more than ever and firmly believes that the vicious forces are making their final strikes before their end, and that the darkness will soon be over.
Li Dexiang, female, is a practitioner in Jinchang City. She is held in Group 3 of Team 3 in Brigade 7 of the labor camp. In June of 2001, she was severely beaten and handcuffed from the back for about a month by the wicked people for refusing to write the guarantee statements. When she came out from the first 15 days confinement, her skin was torn and gaping wounds covered her body. She had a wound on her hand that was so deep, one could see the bone. She was interrogated and threatened with more torture if she did not give up her cultivation. She still refused to write the guarantees so she was confined for another 15 days. After she came out of confinement, she still would not write the statements so they beat and tortured her every day. She should have been released in September of this year but she is still being held to this day. Because of her firm belief in Dafa, she has often been beaten for no reason or handcuffed from behind the back. Her physical health has been severely damaged.
Zhao Fenglian, female, a Dafa practitioner from Jinchang City, is held in Group 2 of Team 3 in Brigade 7 of the labor camp. In March 2001, for shouting something like "Falun Dafa is good," she was detained in Ping'antai Hospital. They stuffed her mouth and beat her, leaving bruises all over her body. They asked her to write the guarantee statements but she refused. She told them, "I will always be a loyal student of the Master (of Falun Dafa)."
Zhang Rongjuan, female, college graduate, is a practitioner from Changshan Village of Chengguan Town in Zhenyuan County, Qingyang area. In May of 2001, she was severely beaten by some vicious people. The pain in her feet and legs lasted for two months. She was severely beaten several times a month, during which she lost consciousness five times. Her head is seriously injured but they still force her to go to work, and as a result, she passed out and fell down several times. Despite the torture, she remained firm in her belief in Dafa. She was released in August. The wicked people had already closed her business. Currently she has no home to return to, and depends on other Dafa practitioners for a place to stay. Her nine year old child has to stay with relatives.
Wei Laigui, female, is a middle school teacher from Xigu District, Lanzhou City. She suffered repeated beatings and it is difficult to find an unwounded area on her body. She has become exhausted and extremely skinny as a result of the tortures. Her jail term should have ended in July but they still have not let her go. Because she is firm in her belief in Dafa, the guards punished her by forcing her to do heavy labor during the day and stand still outside all night. She passed out and fell down several times. Each time she fell, the drug users pulled her up and beat her to force her to continue standing.
Kong Weixia, female, is a Dafa practitioner from Northwest Normal University in Lanzhou City. Since July 2001, she has been illegally detained in Group 1 of Team 1 in Brigade 7 of the labor camp. She has been beaten constantly since she was sent to the labor camp and has been placed in a confinement cell twice for 15 days each time. Once, when she was brutally beaten for four hours straight, her legs became so swollen that she could hardly move, yet they still forced her to work. Facing the inhuman persecution, her faith in Dafa remains rock-solid.
Duan Xiaoyan, female, is a Dafa practitioner from Linjing Town of Yuan County in Qingyang area. She has been illegally kept in the labor camp since July of 2000. She is in Group 1 of Team 1 in Brigade 7 of the labor camp. She has been repeatedly beaten since she was sent to the labor camp. However, she is determined to cultivate to the end.
Li Yu, Wei Laigui, Kong Weixia and Duan Xiaoyan, from August up to this day, have been forced to do heavy labor in the daytime, and forced to stand still outside each night from 10:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. They pledged, "I will never sway even if there are only bones left in my body. If there was only one firm Dafa practitioner left, it would be me."
Dafa practitioner Zhang Xiaoping was sent to the labor camp in August, and illegally sentenced to one and a half years in a labor camp.
Liu Xiuying, female, is a Dafa practitioner from Qilihe District, Lanzhou City. In April 2001, a wicked policewoman, Li Xiaojing, had a dozen drug users (Cheng Xiaohong, Yan Xing, Zhao Fengmei and others) beat her. They savagely beat and kicked her around on the floor. Her body was covered with wounds. Afterwards, she was confined for twenty more days, during which period they had her handcuffed from the back at all times and repeatedly beat her. Due to the repeated tortures, she became extremely skinny and her face lost all color.
Liu Juhua, female, a Dafa practitioner from Qilihe District, Lanzhou City, is in Group 3 of Team 3 in Brigade 7 of the labor camp. While at the camp, some vicious people dragged her into a cellar [underground storage room] so that no one could witness their crimes. After covering her eyes with a piece of cloth and gagging her mouth with a towel, eight or nine drug users beat her up. Her body was covered with wounds. Since then, her stomach has been in constant pain.
The above are the actual cases that I saw in person.
This is what has been taking place in China. This is also the testimony about the brutal persecution by Jiang Zemin and his gang of hoodlums against Dafa practitioners who believe in the principles of "Truth, Compassion and Forbearance."
