Wu Xiaohua, a Falun Dafa practitioner and associate professor at Anhui Civil Engineering College in Anhui Province, was illegally arrested recently. She firmly refused to cooperate with the evil's persecution and protested her arrest with a hunger strike. As a result, the vicious police tied her hands and feet up to perform force-feeding, and later sent her to the hospital for infusion and an examination. Upon examination, it was found that her blood sugar and blood pressure were very high. Based on this, the doctor told the police that her life would be in danger if they continued to detain her in the labor camp, so she was sent home. By this time, her college had already taken away her right to teach.

After Wu Xiaohua was sent home, she was put under house arrest, and there were two cars and 6 to 7 police officers in front of her home around the clock. Among them were the security department head and section head from her college. It was like this for many days. Even after her water faucet was broken and leaked for a whole night, they still refused to let her leave her home to purchase the supplies to fix it. Their reasons were that, "Shanghai is having the APEC (Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation) summit," and, "We have orders from the top to surround your home and prevent you from making a move." (Anhui is a province that does not even border with Shanghai).

Wu Xiaohua said to them, "Every morning, the first thought on my mind is that you don't have any water to wash your face or brush your teeth. I really wanted to send you some water. When I saw you eating from lunch boxes and drinking spring water, I really wanted to send you some tea. But I couldn't do that because you are putting me under house arrest and doing bad deeds. Police should protect citizens. They should punish the bad and praise the good to keep the country peaceful for future generations. However, you confine me, a good person and a fine teacher, here." They could only reply, "We have never heard any teacher or student say anything bad about you. We don't want to be here either." Wu Xiaohua then said, "If you don't want to be here, let your leader know. Otherwise, every additional day you are here, you are performing another day of bad deeds. You are all twenty to thirty years old, and you will form families soon, right? The teachers and students from my college all know that you are doing a bad deed by keeping me here. What good is this for you? In addition, by doing this, you are also threatening my safety, ruining my reputation, and disturbing the quiet living environment of my neighbors." 

The nearby neighbors all knew about the house arrest. They resented it very much every time the police had taken Wu Xiaohua away for practicing Falun Gong. They said, "If they take you away again, we are going to cry."

Confronted with the insane persecution of Falun Gong by Jiang Zemin's criminal regime, Wu Xiaohua appealed to the world, "Why would a kind citizen and a good teacher who follows Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance be put under house arrest for days and nights on end? When are they going to stop!?"

Just before sending out this article, the author learned that the vicious police had taken Wu Xiaohua away from her home while her husband was there. No one knows where she is detained or whether she is safe.
