European SOS Walkers Clarify the Truth at the Office of Belgium's Prime Minister and Foreign Ministry

(Clearwisdom.net) This afternoon, we went directly to the Belgium Prime Minister's Office without having an appointment to deliver a letter and asked for a meeting. A secretary came out and accepted our letter. A practitioner showed her the sole of his shoe that has been worn flat. When he told her that they were from America and Germany, walking all the way via Iceland, Paris, and many other cities and towns to Brussels, she immediately went back inside the office to inform the appropriate people. The Assistant of the Prime Minister came out, shook hands with each of us, and said, "Welcome, great walkers."

He then invited us to the conference hall and listened to us talk about the persecution of Jiang Zemin's regime regarding Falun Gong practitioners. When we told him that since we started the SOS walk, there have been 17 practitioners who were tortured to death, and then showed him color pictures of the cruel persecution and explained to him the details of each picture, he was really shocked. We pointed out to him that nowadays the whole world is against terrorism while what Jiang's regime is doing is another type of terrorism, state terrorism. Presently Jiang's regime is trying to take advantage of the situation that the attention of the whole world is focused on the terrorist attack on the US as well as anti-terrorism, and attempts to further persecute Falun Gong practitioners. The purpose of our SOS walk is to call for support of every country in the world, as well as support of all kind-hearted people. The purpose is to speak out for those in China who have been deprived of the right to speak, and to join our efforts to stop the persecution and stop the killing. We hope that the Prime Minister can pay attention to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners at this European Union Summit. The assistant told us that the Prime Minister and Belgium government has long been working for the improvement of human rights in China, and will continue to pay close attention to the human right issue in China. He said he will pass our request to the Prime Minister. He further wished our SOS walk a success.

Afterwards, we came to the office of the Foreign Minister. The Foreign Minister has gone for the European Union Summit. An assistant of the Foreign Minister met with us and listened to us while we introduced the truth of Falun Gong. He expressed that he would pass our letter and truth-clarifying materials to the Foreign Minister.
