A Dafa Loudspeaker in Tiananmen Square

(Clearwisdom.net) Master said at the Washington, D.C. International Conference: "Get rid of any attachments you might have, and don't think about [such] things. Just do everything a Dafa disciple should do, and everything will be covered."

A fellow practitioner told the following story:

In the morning of September 28, 2001, I went to Tiananmen Square with a loudspeaker, which was set on automatic, to begin broadcast at 9:00 a.m. I did not feel quite safe when I left home with the speaker in a bag. It seemed that everyone on the street was watching me. I knew this kind of feeling was wrong because the item in my bag was the most precious. But I still felt butterflies in my stomach.

Since it was approaching the October 1^st National Day, many uniformed police officers and undercover agents were at Tiananmen Square. Because I felt a bit nervous, all kinds of troubles were coming my way. A police officer checked people's ID and searched their bags, right next to me. Since I had a speaker in my bag, I became really fearful. I couldn't help but ask Master for help. I asked Master, "please don't allow such things to happen to me, and don't give me this test." Out of fear, I would have just dropped my bag and left.

But I knew I couldn't do that. Because the speaker was the most righteous, the best thing, and it could possibly save lives. If I left the bag there and went away, it would not serve the purpose of validating Dafa. If I couldn't accomplish the goal because of my fear and selfishness, wouldn't that account for blocking Fa-Rectification? Besides, what I wanted to do was the most righteous and best thing. Why should I be afraid? I took a closer look at the Square. I decided that the lawn under the Chinese flag was the best location for the most righteous things. I went to the national flag with my bag. During that time, I began to calm down and felt that the speaker in the bag and I had become one body. I was a Dafa disciple who is the most righteous; the speaker would broadcast the truth about Dafa. It was the most righteous, too. Therefore, I would never abandon the bag.

Two days earlier, another practitioner and I had placed a speaker in Tiananmen Square. Since we left too early, I didn't know whether or not it worked. This time, I decided to stay until after the broadcast had begun. So I waited until 5 minutes before 9:00 a.m. to place the bag. After I walked about one hundred meters away, I heard broadcast of Dafa truth with Dafa music as the background music. Then a police officer ran towards the speaker and said to his walkie-talkie: "I found another 'bomb.' That was two days ago; now another one today." I smiled. The speaker I had placed there two days ago also worked!
