1. No One Buys Books that Slander Falun Dafa

Recently, many books slandering Falun Dafa have been for sale in the bookstores. Many varieties of these books are displayed on the counters, but no one looks at them. As one clerk in the bookstore asked, "Why aren't these books being bought?" The other worker answered, "Who would buy them?"

2. No One Signs the Sign-up Sheet Against Falun Dafa

One college has over 1,000 students. This school has twice hosted sign-up activities aimed at attacking Falun Dafa. Only a few however, responded to the activity. They had to cut the "movement" short because only several student cadres signed while the majority of the student body did not. In order to "make" more signatures, these cadres signed the names of several others along with their own.

3. No Forced Purchasing of Books that Slander Falun Dafa

One Principal of the Central School in a certain city, having understood Falun Dafa positively, believes that good is rewarded with good while evil is met with evil. He refused to do bad deeds to help the persecution of Falun Dafa by refusing to participate in the forced distribution of textbooks that slander Falun Dafa. He has positioned himself correctly on this important issue involving life or death, while also preventing more innocent people from committing sins.

Another elementary school principal has clearly distinguished between righteousness and evil. Although his higher administrators ordered him to do so, he never forced the teachers in his school to distribute books slandering Falun Dafa to their classes.

Party Secretary Zhao Xichang, of Shimiao Village, Qingfeng County Subdivision, together with the Village Head Wu Wenjia, used extremely cruel methods to torture Falun Dafa disciples. In order to vent their personal hatred, they came to Dafa disciple Chen Yulong's home and robbed Chen's family of last year's entire harvest--about 5000 Jin (500g = 1 Jin) rice. News of their criminal behavior has caused a very negative impact on the general public.

On September 12^th, 2001, Falun Dafa practitioners Wei Jun and Zuo Guoqing of Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province were arrested on a train for being in possession of Falun Dafa materials. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Falun Dafa Practitioners at Linyuan Refinery Are Kidnapped

On the morning of September 10^th, 2001, around 11am, Zhan Yinge, a retired worker of the Linyuan Refinery of Daqing City, accompanied by his wife, was kidnapped on the way home from the Veggie-Market. Three policemen conducted the action: Dong Fengtong, Gong Bo and the driver Li Tieyan. They forced Mr. Zhan into the police vehicle, and sent him to the Daqing Labor Camp. On the way, Mr.Zhan tried to persuade them not to help a tyrant do evil deeds; he asked them, "Why are you kidnapping me?" Li Tieyan answered ferociously, "We just want to harm you. Do you dare do something about it?" His attitude was very evil.

Whenever people want to buy vegetable seeds, or folks that know her say hello, she always tells them how she has benefited holistically from Dafa, how Jiang Zemin and his gang slander Master Li and Falun Dafa viciously, and how Dafa disciples are being cruelly tortured. Many people express the will to learn Dafa. Everyday she meets some people who are eager to attain the Fa. She thanks Teacher, who has arranged these opportunities for her to save sentient beings. She has traveled to countless villages, and seen with her own eyes those people who are sincerely grateful, from the depths of their original lives, for Teacher's benevolence.

This common peasant woman is carrying a holy responsibility. Using her unshakable righteous thought towards Dafa, wherever she goes, she lets the people see how "The Buddha light illuminates everywhere, propriety and justice rectify and harmonize everything." [China] Official sources reported that the public security system in China has initiated a 70-day nation-wide campaign called "tracking the escaped," starting on September 20th. The evil ran very rampant during this time, and it openly targeted the practitioners who were destitute and homeless. This campaign has exposed the evil's ruthlessness and fear of its own demise. We hope that the practitioners in China who've become destitute and homeless pay more attention to studying the Fa and to their own cultivation, as well as use righteous thoughts to deal with their situation, thus avoiding any losses. In the meantime, we can call on practitioners all over the world to send forth righteous thoughts to crush this evil effort.

Mr. Liang is not a Falun Gong practitioner. Once, however, when he wanted to travel from Taihe to Harbin by train, a local policeman held a picture of Master Li with words slandering Falun Dafa and Master Li. The police forced the passengers to read the words and curse and spit to blaspheme Falun Dafa and Master Li. Two policemen asked Mr. Liang to read, but he said, "I can not recognize characters, so I can't do it." The vicious people said, "You can curse if you cannot read." Mr. Liang replied, "I haven't cursed people since I was very young. How could a policemen teach me to curse?" The evil people even more shamelessly said, "You can spit at the picture if you don't know how to curse." Mr. Liang answered by saying, "I have no saliva." Afterwards, the policemen didn't even allow him on the train, thus forcing Mr. Liang to go to the bus station. Two evil men followed him to the bus station and didn't allow him to get onto the bus. Mr. Liang was very angry and said, "How could the police force people to curse and do things against their will? Where is the law and morality? If you don't allow me to take the train or bus, I'll take a taxi." Mr. Liang called a taxi and went home.

[As related by a practitioner just released from jail] One practitioner who had been detained could not bear the evil's persecution and unwillingly wrote a pledge renouncing Falun Gong. One day, however, the practitioner suddenly heard the World Falun Dafa radio station being broadcast from outside the jail. Upon hearing the broadcast, the practitioner became clear-headed and demanded that the materials he had written be given back to him. He also stated that he would continue to cultivate Falun Dafa. Because of his actions, the practitioner was put into solitary confinement (though he was still very determined). His actions have encouraged many other practitioners.

A practitioner from Jinzhou (Liaoning Province) graduated from police school and was assigned to work in the Nanshan jail. On the day of registration, however, the director asked him if he wanted to practice Falun Gong. When the practitioner replied yes, the director said, "If you practice Falun Gong, we can't assign you a job." The practitioner said, "I'll still practice Falun Gong, even if I lose my job." Now, this practitioner has left home and stepped into the current of the Fa-rectification.

[Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Evil People And Evil Deeds In Shuangcheng City

One practitioner went to the countryside to distribute truth-clarifying literature but was ambushed by villagers who said they had been hiding for several days waiting to catch practitioners distributing Dafa materials.

The Secretary of the local Party Committee closely followed the political directives of Jiang Zemin and persecuted Dafa practitioners without any reservation or restraint. Previously, he had arrested and detained a practitioner (over sixty years old) who came to distribute Teacher's articles to other practitioners . The practitioner will most likely be sent to a labor camp illegally. The Secretary also fined Li Jusong and Zhu Fengwu, two practitioners in his own village, 10,000 Yuan each (about two years' salary of a common city worker). This has caused extensive difficulty for their families. He even stayed in practitioners' homes to watch them. Practitioners there had been deprived of their basic personal freedoms.

Zhang Junliang, chief director of the political security section of the Cao County police department, Shandong Province, and Wang Xia, the vice director, made a lot of money from illegally suppressing Falun Gong. They first arrested and detained Falun Gong practitioners, then blackmailed their families for money--amounting to several thousand Yuan--as preconditions to releasing the practitioners. It has caused economic hardship and spiritual suffering to practitioners' families. Here we admonish all of those who help a tyrant do evil: "Good and evil will all be repaid," this is a heavenly law. You must immediately stop your shameful vicious acts.
