On September 25, 2001, the Municipal Council of Belleville, NJ passes resolution No. 01-278 to condemn the harsh brutal repressive practices of the Chinese Government against Falun Gong practitioners. The copies of the resolution have been sent to ambassador to US, the Consulate General in NY, mayor of Shijiazhuang City - the sister city of Edison City, NJ, mayor of Nantong City -- the sister city of Jersey City, and the mayor of Xuzhou City -- the sister city of Newark city.
