Breaking Human Beings' Mindset -- Two Experience Stories

I attended the Falun Dafa Conference that was held in November 1999, and to this day, I cannot forget two particular experience sharing stories I remember hearing that evening. They have stood out in my mind ever since, and now, I would like to take this opportunity to share them with more fellow practitioners:

Story One: "Look! The Falun Emblem Is Rotating!"

Although Jiang Zemin's regime had not started persecuting Falun Dafa in June 1999, people could sense that the persecution was soon coming. Policemen often patrolled in the park where Wang Xu (assumed name) and other practitioners practiced.

One day, a policeman told the assistant, "It is OK to practice in the park, but you may not hang banners or flags on the trees." Being afraid, the assistant agreed to follow the order. However, Wang Xu said, "That's not right. Our teacher once said that 'It is great compassion to demonstrate the Falun Emblem to people.' Why can't we hang it? We should continue to hang up the Falun Emblem." The assistant did not agree and said, "Who will take the responsibility if it causes any trouble?" Wang Xu answered, "I will. If the policemen do not let us hang the sign on the trees, I will find a bamboo stick to hang it up. I will hold the stick while you all do the practice, and I will handle it if the policemen have any questions."

Two other practitioners agreed with Wang Xu's opinion. The three of them got bamboo sticks and hung the Falun Emblem and a few banners up.

On the first day, while the rest of the group practiced, Wang Xu and the two practitioners displayed the Falun Emblem and the banners. Suddenly, they heard a voice crying out with astonishment, "Look! The Falun Emblem is rotating!"

A person, who happened to pass by, could not help shouting out loudly as he saw the sign. His words drew the attention of others. Many people ran towards the sign to take a look. Wang Xu also hurried over to take a look at it.

Everyone out there witnessed with his or her own flesh eyes -- the Falun Emblem was really rotating just like the ones we see in the video tape; so vivid! But this was not the only miracle that was occurring. Right before us, on a banner with the four large Chinese characters "Fa Lun Da Fa," four smaller characters of "Fa Lun Da Fa" appeared around each of the large characters. The arrangement looked similar to the Falun Emblem, where the large "Wan" symbol is encircled by four small "Wan" symbols. On the banner, the four large characters and their surrounding small characters were rotating as well.

Furthermore, the characters on a flag, on which the eight main features of Falun Dafa were written, became three-dimensional and clearly stood out!

Since then, whenever the group of practitioners was practicing, the Falun Emblem and the "Fa Lun Da Fa" characters on the banner started rotating. Everyone could see these miracles.

This practice site quickly became a landmark. People from far away would travel by bicycle just to have a look at this amazing phenomena.

Within two weeks, the number of practitioners in the group increased dramatically from two hundred to seven or eight hundred! The assistant was almost overwhelmed with to the huge number of newcomers.

Story Two: "My Child, I Am Right Beside You."

In August 1999, the defamation and slander against Teacher were broadcast on Chinese TV. There was a 12-year-old little disciple in Shenyang City (a city in northern China) who thought: "I can't allow them to persecute Teacher. I must go to Beijing and reason things out with them."

Without much thought, she prepared a small backpack and set off on her journey. Where Beijing was, how far away it was, and how to get there -- she paid no attention to these matters. She determined her direction according to the sun as she left home, and started walking south.

The little girl walked for a whole day and left the city. When she came to a graveyard in the suburbs, it was already starting to get dark. She suddenly felt a bit afraid, but she gathered her courage and continued onward.

After a short while, she came to another graveyard, but now it was completely dark. How far was it to Beijing? She had no clue.

In the pitch-dark countryside, she stood in the midst of the cemetery. Feeling scared, she started to cry and called out, "Master --, where are you --?"

Right after the sound of her voice faded away, she heard a resonant voice coming from all around, "My child, I am right beside you."

Then she felt something brightening up in front of her. It became brighter and brighter until she couldn't open her eyes. She closed her eyes instinctively and felt dizzy for a little while.

When she opened her eyes again, she found that she was standing in Tiananmen Square and there was a Dafa disciple beside her. Very surprised to see someone appearing suddenly out of nowhere, the disciple asked her, "Little girl, how did you get here?"

The little girl rubbed her eyes and, somewhat dazed, answered, "I don't know, but I made it after all."
