Asia Pacific Region Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference Held in Australia from October 5th to 7th

(Clearwisdom.net) On October 5, 2001, the Asia Pacific region Falun Dafa experience sharing conference convened in Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland, Australia. More than 500 practitioners from Australia and around the world attended the conference to share their experiences with each other. A series of Hongfa (introducing Falun Dafa to the public) activities were also held to bring attention to and call for help from kindhearted people to rescue the Falun Gong practitioners persecuted in China.

Six practitioners from Sydney walked 1,068 km to the conference. During the 33 days of their SOS! Global RescueWalk, they clarified the truth to people and raised awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Many kindhearted people showed their sympathy and support along the way. When the six walkers arrived at Gold Coast in Queensland on October 1, they received a warm welcome from the local officials, media, non-governmental organizations and the public. The representative of the crowd gave a wonderful speech praising the courage and perseverance of the Falun Gong walkers and condemned the evil violation of human rights by the Chinese government. At the welcome ceremony, practitioners also displayed pictures that showed the dissemination of Falun Gong all over the world as well as pictures that exposed the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. The picture display attracted many passersby and tourists from China to come over and look at the photos.

This experience sharing conference will end on October 7th and we wish it a complete success.
