Some Thoughts on Overcoming the Difficulties in My Regular Job

(Clearwisdom.net) Not long ago, I overlooked my regular daily job and slowed down my work efficiency with the excuse of being busy with Fa-rectification work. I even mistakenly thought that this was to let me give up the attachment to my regular job. I did not realize that this was a mistake until one day when I re-read Master's article "Cultivation and Work." Looking inside and digging out my attachments, I found that I felt complacent in doing work for Dafa. As a result, I was gradually less strict with myself, becoming lazy and seeking an easy life. Master Li once clearly pointed out, "In fact, Dafa's content is profound. Abandoning ordinary human attachments does not mean giving up an everyday person's job. Giving up fame and self-interest is not to distance yourself from the society of everyday people." (Cultivation and Work) From my understanding, a Dafa disciple should be a good person, an even better person under any circumstances. In the working environment, disciples should be responsible persons who fulfill their duty with their best effort.

When I started to work hard again, however, I found that my working efficiency was still low. After a while longer, things were continuing to get worse and worse. My boss indicated his dissatisfaction with me several times and my computer ran into problems repeatedly. As a result, my work was delayed even longer. I spent more and more time on my work until one day I noticed that I hardly had any time to clarify the truth of Falun Dafa to people. Yet, the problem still remained. I was very puzzled and confused. I thought something must be wrong with me, so I looked inside myself once again and calmed my heart to study the Fa. Finally, I enlightened that the difficulties in my work were the result of the evil force's persecution on me. They did not let me exhibit a Dafa disciple's supernatural and dignified side, therefore giving everyday people a negative impression of a Dafa disciple and bringing losses to Dafa. What is more serious than this is that they used this as a way to occupy my time and keep me from participating in Fa-rectification. As soon as I enlightened to this point, I immediately sent forth righteous thoughts, eliminating the evil forces in other dimensions and denying their arrangements. Consequently, I successfully solved in one day the problem that had puzzled me for many days. I found that the problem was actually very simple.

From this incident, I experienced the mighty power of Dafa one more time. Meanwhile, I also recognize the importance of constantly maintaining righteous thoughts in the period of Fa-rectification. If I had denied the evil force's arrangement from the very beginning, I would not have wasted so many days on this problem.
