Illinois Practitioners Start 8-day SOS! Global RescueWalk Across Illinois


On November 7 at 10:30 am, a press conference was held in front of the Chinese Consulate in Chicago to kick off the 8-day SOS! GlobalRescue Walk Across Illinois. The purposes of the SOS! Global RescueWalk is to introduce Falun Gong to the people of Illinois, to clarify the truth of the brutal persecution of Jiang Zemin's regime against Falun Gong practitioners, and to call for the immediate release of Dr. Teng Chunyan and 130 practitioners who are on hunger strike in the Masanjia Labor Camp. They will walk to the State Capital of Springfield and hold another press conference on November 14. During the journey, the walkers will visit over 30 cities and towns to clarify the truth to media, governments and residents.
