ABC Reports Falun Gong Practitioners' Protest Activity in Front of Chinese Consulate in San Francisco


(Clearwisdom.net) At 6 p.m. on November 4, 2001, U.S. ABC broadcasting company reported on Falun Gong practitioners' protest activity in front of the Chinese consulate.

According to the report, that afternoon dozens of practitioners held a protest in front of the Chinese consulate in San Francisco, while at the same time, similar activities were being held throughout the nation. The protesters expressed their indignation toward the ever-escalating violent persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. In 1999, more than seventy million people were practicing Falun Gong in China, later it was banned. Falun Gong is not xx [Chinese government's slanderous word omitted], it is a profound teaching through meditation and exercise, and its purpose is to improve the practitioners themselves.
