France: Clarifying the Truth of Falun Gong to France's Political Circles


In the evening of November 5, 2001, a celebration party was held in Issi-Lesmoulineaux City to celebrate Andre Santini, the mayor and Member of Parliament, winning the honorary Regiment Knight Medal. Many senior officials from Haute-Seine Province attended the party. Several Falun Gong practitioners attended the party as members of the Europe and Asia Friendship Association by invitation.

During the party, the Falun Gong practitioners expressed their appreciation to Mr. Charles Pasqua, the Chairman of France's RPF Party, Member of European Parliament, the Chairman of Haute-Seine Province Counselor Committee, and former Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and handed over materials clarifying the truth of Falun Gong. The practitioners also handed over the truth-clarifying literature to Mr. Francois Bayrou, Member of the European Parliament, presidential candidate, the Chairman of France's UDF Party and former Minister of the Ministry of Education, who attended the party and delivered a speech. During the party, the practitioners also met Mr. Jean-Pierre Foucher, Member of Parliament of Clamart City, who showed his support to the SOS Global RescueWalk a while ago. The practitioners talked with him and introduced his support of Falun Gong in French political circles. Mr. Foucher told the practitioners that he addressed inquires on Falun Gong issue to the Foreign Minster and that he was continuously concerned about the situation of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Before saying good-bye, Mr. Santini, the host of the party warmly invited the practitioners to have a group photo and accepted the most recent materials clarifying the truth of the persecution against Falun Gong.
