Clarifying the Truth in Little Rock, Arkansas


Little Rock, Arkansas is the sister city of Changchun, China. Since Changchun is one of the cities in China where Falun Gong practitioners are being persecuted severely, Falun Gong practitioners in Little Rock decided to clarify the truth to the Sister-city Committee.

One practitioner of Little Rock used to live in Changchun. That made the Sister-city Committee even more interested. The committee invited practitioners to introduce the persecution of Falun Gong in China, especially as it relates to the city of Changchun. David from Seattle was also invited because he had just arrived from his Across America SOS Global RescueWalk from DC to California.

The meeting was held on November 7, 2001. Practitioners introduced Falun Dafa, its significant history around world, and gave a brief introduction of the persecution in China. They also showed a video on the brutal persecution and answered questions. The Mayor of Little Rock emphasized the importance of world peace after the 911 incident. He himself is very familiar with and supportive of Falun Gong. He proclaimed that January 28, 2001 was Falun Dafa Day in Little Rock.
