France: Minister of Education Invites Practitioners to Banquet

On November 13 and 14 the French Academie Universelle des Cultures organized an International Forum on a United World and Human Rights. On the evening of November 13, Minister of Education Jack Lang held a grand banquet for the conference attendees. Some practitioners of the Falun Dafa Association of France and the European Falun Dafa Association also attended the banquet at the invitation of Mr. Lang.

During the banquet, a practitioner on behalf of the Falun Dafa associations of Europe and France expressed sincere gratitude to Mr. Jack Lang for the humanity and sense of justice he has shown in rescuing Chi Jian and his family of Grenoble from Jiang Zemin's brutal persecution. Chi and his family were detained while visiting China before being rescued. The practitioner also told Mr. Lang about Falun Gong's principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance and that Falun Gong teaches people to be truthful and have compassion hearts. These principles should play a positive role in elevating people's moral standard. Jiang Zemin's State Terrorism against law-abiding citizens and his use of slander, torture and killing should be resolutely condemned by all people of the world.

The Minister was very happy and expressed his willingness to continue helping rescue other practitioners persecuted in China. When practitioners told him about the tortures Zhao Ming has suffered, Mr. Lang asked for detailed information at once. He urged practitioners to gather all the names of practitioners who need rescue and he will make all the necessary efforts to help.
