Showing kindness towards Falun Dafa heads off a disaster

There is a very kind-hearted and sincere couple in Liaoning Province Jingzhou City. A short while before July 20^th ,1999 their son's friend (a Falun Dafa practitioner) from out of town brought some Dafa books and Teacher's lecture videotapes to their home. He said that he wanted to temporarily place the books and tapes in their home, and take this opportunity to introduce the Fa to the family. He suggested that they study them and left. A few days later, the persecution began and this practitioner's whereabouts became unknown. With respect to these Dafa materials, the couple's son said, "XX (that practitioner's name) is a good person!" The mother replied, "Mum knows, mum knows what to do." The father said, "Jiang Zemin lets those corrupt officials and real criminals run wild while he persecutes good people!" The mother viewed the Dafa materials as treasures and hid them in the safest place in their home.

During this year's Spring Festival, that Falun Dafa practitioner called the couple from long distance. Below is his conversation with the mother:

Dafa practitioner: Auntie, Happy New Year! I'm XX."

Friend's mother: My child, where are you?

Dafa practitioner: Auntie, I can't tell you where I am, but I'm fine, don't worry about me. Did you hand over the things I placed at your home?"

Friend's mother: I couldn't. I know that you are all good people.

Dafa practitioner: Thank you auntie, I'll just leave them at your place then."

Friend's mother: My child, don't worry, when it is safe, I'll give them to you."

Dafa practitioner: That's good then. Bye Auntie.

This year in March, the couple's son got married and there were a lot of guests at their home for the wedding. When organising and cleaning the rooms for guests, they did not forget about the Dafa books and tapes. A few days before their son's wedding, the mother checked the hiding place again to make sure that everything was safely hidden. That day, the wedding was to start at 9 o'clock. At seven in the morning, the father went on his bicycle to pick up relatives arriving from out of town. When he had almost arrived at the train station, a speeding taxi hit him. The driver braked suddenly and because of the force, he was thrown onto the hood of the car and then rolled off. Before he hit the ground, he felt a pair of giant hands pick him up and place him onto the ground. He did not sustain any injuries and only his elbow was slightly scratched. Due to his righteousness, he did not want to extort money from that driver. After arriving home, his relatives and friends said, "You and your wife are honest and kind people. You always do good and virtuous deeds. Nothing bad happened to you because the gods and Buddhas are helping and looking after you." The wife said to her husband, "If we did anything to harm others, we would be having a wedding and a funeral on the same day."

After the wedding, she told a fellow work mate (also a practitioner of Falun Dafa) about the incident. This practitioner said to her, "Do you know why? It's because your house has Buddha's Fa hidden in it, and how could our Teacher let harm come your way if you are protecting Buddha's Fa? This is the fortune brought to you by your kindness towards Falun Dafa!" The wife suddenly realised this and went home and told her husband and son about it. The whole family felt extremely fortunate.

Immediate retribution after tearing up a Falun Dafa leaflet

The evening before last I went to a friend's place to tell him about Falun Dafa. Even though this friend does not practice, after a few times of clarifying the truth to him, he no longer opposed Dafa and learned about the government directed propaganda and deceit towards Falun Dafa. He mentioned an incident which deeply moved me and made me further understand what Teacher has said about good being rewarded with good and evil being met with evil.

Six months ago, he was practicing a different kind of qigong. With him was a 65-year-old retired teacher from a junior high school in Zhenzhou City. This teacher, under the influence of government propaganda, loathed Dafa. When he was in the park practicing this qigong, each time he saw the truth-clarifying materials put up next to the flowerbed he would tear them off and step on them, shouting and yelling insults at the same time. A few days later, he stopped coming to the park. Two months later, last week, my friend saw this retired teacher at the park. He was in a bad state of health and was strolling with the help of his wife. My friend was told that two months ago, as this teacher was catching a bus, he missed his step and fell. Since then, he has been in this state of health.

My friend felt deeply sorry for his misfortune but I reminded him that this was a case of "good is rewarded with good and evil is met with evil." He then suddenly remembered another lady who was practicing qigong with him. She also liked to tear up Dafa truth-clarifying materials and he had not seen her for quite a while now. She used to come everyday, but hadn't lately, so he would try to find out what happened. Maybe something happened to her as well?

Two occurrences of immediate retributions in a city in northeast China

1. A Party member, Li Fengqi, would tear down Dafa truth-clarifying materials as soon as he saw them. One day he fell and broke his arm. From then on, he stopped tearing off the leaflets.
2. Officer An saw a group of people surrounding a pole and reading the Dafa truth-clarifying material pasted onto it. He used a spade and scratched the material off, saying, "I'm not scared of retribution!" Then he went to work. Suddenly, an unbearable pain gripped his stomach and his friend, Officer Chen, said, "This is retribution from tearing off Dafa leaflets."
