Global Efforts Bring About the Release of Young Chinese Girl on Hunger Strike
(Clearwisdom.net)
After many kind-hearted people from all over the world made phone calls to
ask for the release of the young practitioner on hunger strike, the local
officials realized that their evil conduct had been exposed. The cell phone of
detention center director Qin Shouwen rang constantly with one call after
another asking for the release of the young girl, and it caused a great deal of
panic among the perpetrators. The director of the Pinggu County Police
Department hastily returned from a meeting in Beijing on the evening of November
12, 2001 at about 10 p.m.
That evening the police executed their final plans. Two top police department
officials threatened the young practitioner with force-feeding if she still
refused to give her name or eat. They said they would sentence her to jail
despite the fact that she is under 18. They even showed her how a person is
force-fed. The girl said, "I am not afraid."
On the morning of November 13, 2001, the police began procedures to release
her, and she was soon let go.
That was the fifth day of her hunger strike. After she was released, she
discovered agents following her, but she was able to lose them and return home.

World Attention: The Young Girl on Hunger Strike for 5 Days Is Released
Clearwisdom.net has been carrying articles calling for the urgent rescue of a
young Chinese girl under detention. She was released on November 13, 2001.
On the fifth day of her hunger strike and detention, police officer Qin
received a phone call from Britain. After that, the head of the police
department in Pinggu County went to a meeting in Beijing (Translator's note:
Pinggu is a county in the suburbs of Beijing.) When he returned from the
meeting, officer Qin's attitude had changed completely. The next day, the police
beat and swore at the girl but soon set her free.
From this incident we realized that when Clearwisdom posted the phone numbers
of the perpetrators, it was an opportunity for people around the world to
participate in the Fa-rectification in China and help put an end to the
persecution. Meanwhile, we could also ask the diplomats, members of parliament,
and human rights organizations in every country to call the detention centers,
police departments, and labor camps so that all the righteous forces and
kind-hearted people in the world could help in the Fa-rectification.
What the evil fears most is the exposure of their conduct. By making phone
calls, we are telling the accomplices and associates of Jiang Zemin that they
are being put on the list of evil perpetrators because their persecution of
practitioners violates the International Human Rights Treaty. We successfully
filed a lawsuit against the head of the police department in Hubei Province,
Zhao Zhifei, when he visited the U.S. As a result, all of his private property
outside China was frozen. When the time comes for the truth to be revealed to
the world, practitioners all over the world will make sure that the perpetrators
are brought to justice. It is the law of the universe that good and evil will
each receive their due reward and punishment. We hope that the police and
officials in China will treat practitioners well and not abuse their power.
Otherwise, it will be too late for them to regret their actions.
