(Clearwisdom.net) Suppose when a person walks one more step he will fall into a bottomless abyss, if someone warns him on time: "Stop! Otherwise you will fall into the ten-thousand-foot deep abyss and smash into pieces!" Isn't this completely for his well being? When someone slanders the Buddha Fa ignorantly and is doomed to be eliminated, "Immediate retribution in this lifetime" is out of God's mercy and kind guidance, with the intent of saving him. If he cannot enlighten to it, more serious consequences will follow; if he continues on the same course for long, God will not advise him and give lessons to him anymore.

The existence and operation of the heavenly principle of "goodness is rewarded with goodness and evil with miseries" absolutely will not change a little according to preferences of human beings. It will be too late for them to wake up when they begin to repay the terrible karma through endless suffering in hell.

Some policemen asked a retired old man to peel off Falun Dafa truth-clarifying posters and promised to pay him 50 cents for peeling one piece. The old man peeled off dozens of posters and wanted to go to get the "bonus," unexpectedly, he stumbled on the ground and lost consciousness. One day, he stood underneath a telephone pole, pointed at the Falun Gong flyers on the pole, and said to the people around, "This says whoever peels it off will receive retribution. That's just trying to scare people. I peeled off several of them and I've never had any problems. Watch, I'll show you." With that, he stretched out his arm and tried to peel it off. Suddenly, however, he felt a strong headache come on. He held his head with his hands and shouted loudly, "I'm convinced, I'm convinced, I'll never peel one off again."
