My Experience Going to Tiananmen Square for Fa-rectification

For a long time, it was my wish to unfold a Dafa banner in Tiananmen Square. So on the first day of 2001, I went to Tiananmen Square with my child. The square was full of uniformed and plainclothes policemen. I unfolded the banner and shouted, "Falun Dafa is good," "Falun Dafa is a righteous teaching," and "Return justice to my teacher." Because I said these things, my child and I were thrust into a police car and sent to a prison in a suburb of Beijing. Someone told me that they had recently built this prison to persecute Dafa practitioners; there were countless practitioners detained there, including elderly people, middle-aged women, young girls, children, and even a two month-old baby.

The evil attempted to separate us, so we stood in the doorway and shouted out loud, "We demand our unconditional release," and "Falun Dafa is good--cultivation is not a crime and it is not a crime to be a good person." The whole scene was quite magnificent. The policemen had lost their humanity. Military police were called to forcefully ram into the door and, in the end, the door was forced open. The evil policemen then rushed into the cells and began beating and kicking the unarmed Dafa practitioners; they dragged practitioners by their hair to forcefully separate them. How evil they were! Our kind Falun Gong practitioners and young, innocent children received such a brutal treatment just for telling the true facts about Falun Gong.

My child and I were sent to the Yanshan Branch Police Station, so were three other practitioners and their children. Even the 2 months old baby and his mother were not spared. Many of us heard the baby's crying from the interrogation room when the police interrogated them. My child and I were detained for a whole day and he didn't have any food the entire time. The police didn't feel sympathetic either. Instead, they tried to use my child to get information from us. They threatened me saying, "If you still refuse to tell your name, your child will be taken away from you." My child was frightened and began to cry. Later on, they found my address from the personal belongings that I carried. On the second day, my child and I were sent to our local government's Beijing Office. At that time, I only had one thought: I should escape from their evil hands! Later I indeed left successfully.

After that, I had to leave my hometown and live with one of my relatives. They showed me their understanding and support. Sometimes, they also helped me post flyers. One time, we were followed while posting flyers. Then, the police came to search my relative's home at 3 a.m. in the morning! They ransacked the house making a mess and taking away several hundred Yuan (Chinese currency). They also took a deposit book with 7,000 Yuan that I put in the closet when they left. What is the difference between these policemen and bandits?

The evil policemen took my relative's family (including a 13 year-old girl) to the police station and interrogated them separately. Later, they detained the wife and asked the husband to turn me in to them in exchange for her release. Moreover, the police forced the husband to take them to many of my relatives' homes to look for me. They also required him to go to the police station once a week to give a report.

After all of this happened, I had to live a homeless life again. Later, I met another Dafa practitioner and soon, I re-joined the powerful current of Fa-promotion and Fa-rectification.
