In June 2001, I went to Beijing once again to validate the Fa [law and principles]. After arriving in Beijing, I bought a return ticket for that evening. During this busy tourist season, I even unexpectedly happened to obtain a seat.

In the evening when I got on the train, the passageways in the railway carriage were filled with passengers that didn't have seats. A young man saw an empty seat beside me and asked me for that seat. I very naturally moved to the empty seat inside and gave my seat to him. I thought, "This young man looks very kind, and I should introduce Falun Dafa to him before the passenger who booked this seat comes." Thus I started our conversation.

This young man was from Xinxiang City, Henan Province. He knew a lot about what Yue Fei (a well-known national hero in the Southern Song Dynasty in ancient China who bravely resisted the invasion from another country yet was later framed and killed by a betrayer) and Sakyamuni said. He told me that a fortune-teller once predicted he had a predestined relationship with Buddha. He was doing some temporary job in a city and planned to go to school when he got enough money to pay for tuition... Then I started to talk about the implications of reading books and gradually changed the topic to Falun Gong and its teachings, such as people's need to let go of fame, self-interest, and sentimentality... In this way, we talked for the whole night, losing track of the time.

In the end, I asked him, "Why did you buy a ticket, even though you knew there would not be any seat, in such hot weather?" He answered, "I don't know why. These days I feel uneasy in my mind while being at home (in Xinxiang) and just wanted to come back [to the city where I have a temporary job]. After coming to Beijing [to change trains], I thought I had to take this train even though there weren't any available seats. I don't know the reason." After listening to him, I understood right away. I asked him to think about why he had to take this train back without knowing the reason. Why the passenger who booked the seat I was sitting in didn't get on this train at all? Wasn't this his predestined relationship with Buddha? I didn't know what kind of predestined relationship I had with him in a past life. How many thoughts and efforts has Master Li made to help predestined people to obtain Dafa! It is indeed:

"Taking care of all affairs in human world,

Showing concern over heavenly suffering."

Before leaving, he left me his name and telephone number. Later, I made a special trip to the city where he had a temporary job to give him Dafa books and a truth-clarifying CD. Another predestined person has obtained Dafa with Master Li's careful arrangements.

Because of this, I deeply feel that I should take my steps well on this route Master Li has arranged for me and complete my historical mission.
