Jiang Zemin and His State Terrorism

Authorities are now permitted to break into a private residence without producing a search warrant; raiding a home, performing body searches, and making arrests without going through the appropriate legal channels. They can send citizens to labor camps without providing any legal grounds and torture innocent and good people to death without giving any reason or having any accountability. They can "cremate bodies directly without identifying them," and be "safe" under the rule that "person's beaten to death will be considered suicide." These are the manifestations of the state terrorism Jiang Zemin has taken against Falun Gong practitioners in China.

One of the characteristics of Jiang Zemin's state terrorism lies in the complete disregard for the rule of law. Absolute personal power has replaced everything else. Law enforcement agencies, other democratic parties, and the People's Congress all have disappeared into the background. Those in power can hand down a conviction first and pass the related laws later. The entire state apparatus is working for the person in power.

The second characteristic is that the Jiang Zemin regime incites people to fight among themselves, and coerces all levels of authorities and the masses into following the evil. People who follow them will be allowed to live, and those who choose not to will risk losing their lives.

The third characteristic is that they use any means they can think of, including a very brutal methodology. They follow, monitor, and eavesdrop to an extreme. For instance, if you want to take the train, you will have to slander Falun Dafa; otherwise you will be declared a Dafa practitioner. Some train stations place pictures of the founder of Falun Dafa at places where pedestrians have to go through and force people to step on the pictures, otherwise people will not be allowed to get on the train.

While tens of thousands of Chinese citizens have been deprived of their basic human rights, Jiang Zemin claims loudly that we are witnessing the "best period of human rights in China." Let's take a look at the lies spread at the recent APEC meeting in Shanghai: "China opposes any form of terrorism." People who know better all realize that Jiang himself is the very manufacturer of terrorism in China! More than three hundred people have been identified as tortured to death (according to internal statistics from the Public Security Ministry, the real death toll has exceeded one thousand). Over ten thousand good-hearted people have been detained. Countless people are living in exile, and even a greater number of families have been broken up. These are happening just because they don't want to give up their belief in "truthfulness, compassion and forbearance!"

The "April 25th Peaceful Appeal" by over ten thousand Dafa practitioners was unprecedented in the history of China, setting an exemplar of being peaceful and rational. The mad persecution of Falun Gong led by Jiang Zemin and the series of lies manufactured by his followers have also won them a shameful spot in history.
