British Practitioners Attempt to Express Their Wishes to Chinese Vice-President Hu Jintao



On October 31, 2001, Chinese Vice President Hu Jintao concluded a four-day visit to London. During that time, British practitioners tried their best to express the wishes of Falun Dafa practitioners abroad. At the same time, they introduced Falun Gong to the British media and public, and exposed the truth of the persecution against Falun Gong by Jiang Zemin's government.

We waited for a long time in the cold weather in several locations to try and express our wishes to Vice President Hu Jintao that as a "Central government leader, please uphold justice for Falun Gong and investigate the persecution directly."

We had many chances to stand near the vice president Hu Jintao and waved and smiled at him to welcome him. All of us spoke out, "Falun Dafa is a righteous Fa!"

The practitioners' righteousness and kindness touched the police, passers-by and nearby residents. From our introduction of Falun Gong and clarification of the truth, they came to understand Falun Gong, and learn the truth of persecution against Falun Gong in China. Many stepped forward to request Dafa materials and expressed their interests in learning Falun Gong.

Gradually, we were changing the environment. When we didn't know his whereabouts or his routes changed, there were kind-hearted people to inform us. We often stood in the cold wind for several hours just to say one sentence from the bottom of our hearts to the national leader who generally appeared before public for only a few seconds. The British police, the staff beside Hu Jintao and those from the Chinese Embassy saw us clearly. Our righteous mentality and firmness made those who did not know the truth of Falun Gong change their misunderstanding. Though some staff did not talk to us, they showed their respect in their eyes.
