Re: Support for Falun Gong

On behalf of the City Council and residents of the City of Swift Current, I wish to congratulate the Falun Gong SOS Global Rescue Walkers for their continued efforts to inform people around the world about the injustices being done to the Chinese people who practice Falun Gong in China.

Here in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, and indeed throughout our entire country, we are fortunate to have the opportunity to practice our faiths, as diverse as they are, without any threat of persecution.

We wish the walkers for this cause all the best and encourage you to assist in voicing our concerns to end the persecution of those who practice Falun Gong.
