(Clearwisdom.net) As of late October, many Dafa practitioners were being illegally detained in the Chaoyanggou labor camp in Changchun City, Jilin Province. In order to protest the illegal and detention past original sentences, as well as the suffering of inhuman and unjust treatment, many started a hunger strike. They were requesting to be released unconditionally. After one week, the vicious guards and some prisoners cruelly force-fed the practitioners that were hunger striking. Several of them held down the practitioners' arms and legs and used a metal shovel to force open the practitioners' mouths and teeth. They force-fed them with dirty water and corn gruel. Some of the practitioners' mouths and lips were ripped or torn off.

The labor camp also asked the prisoners to kick and punch the Dafa practitioners. Their goal was to break Dafa practitioners' firm will through physical and mental abuse. They also said: "If you don't eat, then we will knock out your teeth and rip your mouth apart so that you will never be able to eat again!" Among them, the most violent of all is the 2^nd class of the 6^th team. Although the situation is incredibly brutal, the number of people that are undertaking hunger strikes is increasing daily.

We sincerely request that people of conscience, both inside and outside of China, pay close attention to this matter. At the same time, please take immediate action to stop this situation from getting worse. We need to prevent the "Wanjia Tragedy" [a horrific incident where several Falun Gong practitioners died due to torture in one day in the Wanjia labor camp] from happening again!
