Fa Study and Righteous Thoughts

Recently, after I calmed down and spent lots of time studying the Fa, I started to send forth righteous thoughts almost once every hour whenever I had time.

Once while I was sending forth righteous thoughts, I had one thought to send forth all my compassion to assist Teacher to save the sentient beings. Then I silently recited the Fa-rectifying verses in serenity and compassion. After I silently recited it several times, tears suddenly rolled down. I realized afterwards that only with a calm, serene and compassionate heart can one send forth more powerful righteous thoughts. I cannot see anything with my celestial eye, but I believe at that moment my tears were not out of sentimentality; rather, they reflected the genuine compassion of my original nature, which really can eradicate the evil and save all beings. Later I enlightened to why recently I can calm down to send forth righteous thoughts. It is the power of Dafa, and it is because recently I have studied the Fa with a calm heart. Are our righteous thoughts powerful? I enlightened that it all depends on whether we can study the Fa well, and whether we can let go of everything to assimilate to Dafa. The Fa is the most fundamental solution to all problems.

Some fellow practitioners have asked about how to send forth strong and powerful righteous thoughts. I feel that it does not rely on a method, or the speed and loudness of reciting the verses. Teacher said,

"Why doesn't your gong increase with your practice? Many people think this way: 'I haven't received genuine teaching. If a master teaches me some special skills and a few advanced techniques, my gong will increase.' Nowadays, ninety-five percent of people think this way, and I find it quite ridiculous. Why is it ridiculous? It is because qigong is not a technique of everyday people. It is something completely supernormal. Accordingly, the principles of high levels should be applied to examine it." (Zhuan Falun, Lecture One)

Thus there are no shortcuts or special skills in sending forth righteous thoughts. Only when we study the Fa well, assimilate to Dafa, keep up with Teacher's Fa-rectification process, completely view things from the perspective of Fa-rectification, and let go of everything to assist Teacher in the Fa-rectification and in saving all beings, can we send forth the purest and most powerful righteous thoughts.

I enlightened from the Fa-rectifying verses that it is the Fa that rectifies the Cosmos, and that the Fa rectifies Heaven and Earth; it is the Fa that punishes the evil, and the Fa brings good rewards to kind-hearted people. Teacher said in "Beyond the Limits of Forbearance" that "Zhen-Shan-Ren is the Fa!" Teacher also said in Zhuan Falun, "What is the Buddha Fa, then? The most fundamental characteristic of this universe, Zhen-Shan-Ren, is the highest manifestation of the Buddha Fa. It is the most fundamental Buddha Fa." Only the heavenly Fa of Zhen-Shan-Ren can rectify the Cosmos and eradicate all the evil.

Teacher also said, "The Fa can reveal all attachments, the Fa can eradicate all evils, the Fa can expose and dispel all lies, and the Fa can strengthen righteous thoughts." ("Deter Interference"). I enlightened that through studying the Fa we must put down all attachments, selfishness and egoism, let go of everything, completely assimilate to Dafa and melt into the Fa. Only this way can we send forth righteous thoughts that are gloriously radiant and compassionate to all sentient lives. This cannot be achieved by some methods, but only through steady cultivation, step by step.
