Today, one hundred and forty practitioners issued solemn statements. They declared all words and actions against Falun Gong were coerced from them as a result of intense persecution, which targeted and effectively played off of their desire for personal fame, self-interest, and were therefore invalid. They will follow Teacher closely, steadfastly cultivating Dafa and redoubling their efforts to make up for the damage they have caused to Dafa.

Falun Dafa Practitioners from Sichuan Province Brutally Force-Fed and Cruelly Tortured

A vicious policeman poured a pot of cold water on the ground. He then kicked at the back of my knees, which made me fall to the ground. My face pointed up. My whole body was soaked in cold water. Two women inserted a tube through my nostrils and the vicious policeman kicked and stepped on me. He also used his feet to step on my mouth.

They broke into the residents' homes at night repeatedly. They would pry open doors, break windows, cross over walls, and get on top of houses in order to abduct Dafa practitioners. They wanted to escort them to brainwashing classes. These policemen are worse than bandits. The neighbors and the villagers were scared by these lawless actions.

Police enforcers in the Jiangshuiquan Female Forced Labor Camp in Jinan City used extremely brutal means to torture the over 700 practitioners who were detained there. Some of the forms of torture used were confining practitioners to "solitary compartments," handcuffing them and hanging them up for over 20 days. The handcuffs caused severe swelling and deformation to their hands. The practitioners held a hunger strike to protest. One practitioner was tortured death.

A letter to our parents, brothers and sisters: Falun Dafa has greatly benefited our whole family and Teacher took thorough care of us. We can't repay these favors with vice and reward virtues with complaints. I hope you can remember to be firm in following "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance."

Cultivation Story

My sister-in-law was illegally held in a detention center in Hebei Province for over eight months, during which time she held a hunger strike for over a month. The officials of the detention center extorted money from her family and tried to use her family's concern about her and Dafa practitioner's not caring about money to escalate their persecution. They met with resistance from her family, however, and had to unconditionally release her in the end.

A practitioner went to a remote neighboring village to promote Dafa and clarify the truth. On the bus there, he started telling passengers about Falun Gong. Specifically, he discussed with a man studying law about the legality of Falun Gong practitioners appealing to the government, and the Jiang political group's violation of the Chinese Constitution. Suddenly, a plain-clothes policeman came up and was about to arrest the practitioner. However, a courageous and righteous passenger stopped him. At this moment, to everyone's surprise, another bus came by. The practitioner managed to get on it and escaped.

Story of a Miraculous Cure

For many years, I suffered from illnesses including major lung and stomach problems. There were times that I wished I did not have to endure anymore and could leave this world. The factory that I was working at found my annual medical costs amounting to 10,000 Yuan to be a huge burden. In 1996, I started practicing Falun Dafa. Since then, I have totally recovered from my chronic illnesses that had lasted 30 years and gained back my health. The Jiang Zemin-led government through its vicious slander and brutal persecution of Falun Dafa has denied the sick the chance to be cured and in doing so committed despicable crimes.

In July I spread the truth about Falun Gong in my hometown. The police found out about it and sent a police car to arrest me. I thought: "I won't be arrested by those vicious people!" At once, the car could not function. On September 20, I was sent to a brainwashing class. I went on a hunger strike. I did not cooperate with the vicious people no matter how they tortured me. I rationally told people the truth about Falun Gong and righteously walked out of the evil people's brainwashing class.

The Unforgettable Week: Falun Gong practitioners from Belgium drove to Italy to clarify the truth about Falun Gong and introduce Falun Gong to classmates and friends. In Milan over a dozen friends and relatives gathered and talked for over 3 hours about Falun Gong. Finally everyone said that they previously did not know the truth about Falun Gong at all. All of what they knew came from CCTV (China Central TV Station) and the vicious propaganda in the local paper from the Chinese Consulates. Everyone said that Falun Gong is great. If we let more people know about the truth, the evil will have nowhere to hide and will come to an end itself.
