News from China
114 people issued solemn statements declaring that everything they said and
wrote that was against Dafa is invalid. They will steadfastly cultivate Dafa and
redouble their efforts to make up for the damage they have caused to Dafa. They
will also follow Teacher closely, catch up with the process of Fa-rectification
and become dignified, indestructible and qualified Dafa practitioners.
The vicious policemen from the police station in Zhongtun town, Jinzhou City
of Liaoning Province ransacked my home, abducted us, and repeatedly brought
tribulations to our family. Because we reported the truth about Falun Gong to
the government, my husband was sent to the brainwashing class, detained and
sentenced to forced labor for a two-year term. He was again taken away from home
after just coming back home for 16 days. I was sent to brainwashing class,
detained and sentenced to 18 months of forced labor. I have just been released
for several months and now I have become destitute and homeless again.
Here is the experience of a Dafa practitioner being brutally tortured by the
evil forces for rightfully going to appeal. Because he went to validate Dafa, he
was abducted and illegally detained many times. He was beaten, abused, tortured,
force fed and choked with water. Twenty vicious people stomped on his arms, legs
and head, using cigarettes to burn his toes and pouring cold water on his body
in freezing weather.

From August 1994, together we promoted Fa, did the exercises and studied the
Fa at over 50 places at Qinghua University and in Beijing. In July 1995, he
graduated from Qinghua University and stepped on the train to the west, where he
gave everything he had to the people there. People will remember him; the
universe has recorded his footprints.

A letter written by a Dafa practitioner to his (her) parents:
Human life is short, and anything that one tries to obtain in this world that
was not brought with him at birth cannot be taken away with him upon death.
Father used to say: in the new era, the real Law will spread among people.

numerous races; practicing Dafa is the only way out for a human being.

Cultivation Story
A couple often wrote, "Falun Dafa is good" and "Truthfulness,
Compassion, Forbearance" on the walls on the side of streets or at the
intersections. Each character is one meter, all the way around. The words looked
beautiful and shone with golden light. The two cooperated and distributed
countless truth-clarifying materials.

Latest News from China -- 12/08/2001
A practitioner was posting truth-clarifying materials in an apartment
building when a resident spotted him. The practitioner went down the stairs
sending forth righteous thoughts: he will not recognize me. When the man finally
caught up with him, he forgot whether the person he was supposed to be after was
"a man or a woman."
On August 14 of the Chinese Lunar Calendar, the police ransacked my home,
took away Falun Dafa materials and took me forcibly to the local police station
and then the detention center. I did not cooperate with them and was abused. I
went on a hunger strike for 11 days before I walked out of the detention center
with dignity with my family, who came to pick me up.
From a beginner practitioner from Dongning Park, Tainan City: My husband and
I have been meditating and chanting the Buddha's name for years, but have not
been able to find answers to our questions regarding the origin and the purpose
of human life. We did not think that we would ever be able to find the answers
until we read Chapter 1 of Zhuan Falun one night. It contained all the
answers that we had been searching for our whole life.

News from Overseas
An overseas student in Britain is currently appealing to the Chinese Embassy
in London to return to her daughter the right of citizenship. The Embassy
refuses to process and register her daughter. The nearly two-year old girl still
does not have citizenship.
From December 2 to December 4, Falun Gong practitioners in Germany introduced
Falun Gong, clarified the truth about Falun Gong and exposed the evil of the
Chinese government's persecution of Falun Gong at the annual meeting of the
German Christian Democratic Party.
In Japan, the first issue of the association magazine, Righteousness and
Conscience, created by the Association to Support Falun Gong Practitioners
Applying for Refugee Protection was published in Tokyo. Composed of professors
and scholars of many famous Universities in Japan and one congressman, the
association appeals to the Chinese government to stop the persecution of Falun
Gong practitioners.
Short news from Australia: December 7 is the 108th day of the
hunger-strike relay of the Falun Gong practitioners in Canberra, Australia.
Practitioners there demonstrate day and night to eliminate the evil and clarify
the truth about Falun Gong to tourists from Mainland China.
