Clarifying the Truth to the Chinese People at all Times

Luxembourg looks like a big garden: it is beautiful, clean and clear. This country was the 3^rd stop for us to spread Falun Dafa in Europe. On the day of our arrival, we planned to do the exercise in two places -- one in the morning and another place in the afternoon.

Before that, we had a very tight schedule. We spent one day in England, took a ferry to Paris in the evening, then took a bus to Luxembourg, where we arrived the next morning.

Two local policemen took us to a garden square in front of a shopping center. The garden square was not very big, as it could only fit a few dozen people. I took some Falun Gong "SOS" introduction flyers to hand out to people passing by. I also handed flyers to the drivers who were coming in and out of the underground parking lot. Most people around us accepted the flyers and were very friendly.

I was deeply touched as I watched the Taiwanese Falun Gong practitioners doing the exercises. They came here to this strange country from thousands of miles away. Those Taiwanese practitioners had been traveling for over 48 hours, yet they were still very energetic in spreading Falun Dafa for the sake of offering people salvation. They were really great!

In the afternoon, we did the exercises at another square alongside a road. At that time, a Chinese couple over 60 years old came by. I handed our truth-clarifying materials to them, but they didn't want them. They even criticized us. I tried to explain to them, but they didn't want to listen. They tried to tell me the Chinese government's lies. The old gentleman said: "I don't want to hear about Falun Gong!" I had to answer him another way by saying: "Well, if you don't want to hear about Falun Gong, we can talk about Confucius. Confucius taught 'kindness' and 'forgiveness,' and he didn't teach us to do bad things. Confucius passed away over two thousand years ago, and he didn't do anything bad to the Chinese XX Party, right? And he was not a threat to the Chinese government. So why does the Chinese government want to take him down?"

That old gentleman seemed to understand something. Then I said to him: "Master Li teaches us to be good people and follow 'Truthfulness, Benevolence and Forbearance.' Truthfulness, Benevolence and Forbearance are good, aren't they?"

The gentleman replied: "Truthfulness, Benevolence and Forbearance are not bad." Then I said: "Our Teacher taught us to be good people, and he didn't do anything bad to the Chinese government. Then why did the Chinese government beat so many Dafa practitioners to death? How can you believe what Jiang Zemin says?" This old gentlemen didn't know what to say. He just waved his hand and said that he didn't want to talk about it anymore.

Although, I couldn't make him understand the whole picture, from his attitude, I think he started to suspect the Chinese government's propaganda. I think he has a chance.

Last year, I went to Singapore to attend a conference, where I met a Malaysian businessman. When I gave him the Dafa flyers, he also appeared to firmly reject them. He even said that we have political motives and he thinks that we created a bad image for the country.

Suddenly, I had a thought and asked him if he could accept the saying: "Confucius was bad." Then the businessman started to protect Confucius by saying that he thought that Confucius was a very good and sacred teacher.

Then I told him: " The Chinese XX Party said that Confucius was bad and they criticized Confucius. So we cannot believe what the Chinese government says, right?" Then the businessman took the flyer from me and said: "Let me read it."
