Benxi City Forced Labor Camp Authorities in Liaoning Province Plot to Torture Dafa Practitioner Zhao Chenglin to Death
(Clearwisdom.net) Zhao Chenglin, a physician at Benxi City's Infectious
Disease Hospital, has suffered cruel torture for one month for being steadfast
in his belief of Falun Gong. Currently, both his thighs have ulcerated in many
places and his internal organs have also been seriously damaged. He is on the
verge of death. Even under these circumstances, the ruthless people in the labor
camp not only have not provided him with any treatment, but also have confined
him in a solitary compartment. The following are details of what these ruthless
authorities have done outside of the law to Zhao Chenglin:
Practitioner Zhao Chenglin, male, 40-year old, is a physician in Benxi City's
Infectious Disease Hospital in Liaoning Province. Police violently abducted him
on May 28, 2001. He was sentenced to one-year of forced labor in July 2001.
During his detention with no charge in Benxi Forced Labor Camp, Zhao Chenglin
continued practicing Dafa. In order to force him to "repent," the
heartless police in the labor camp employed a ruthless torture know as
the,"Stretch Torture." They suspended his four limbs in the air
intending with this torture to destroy his cultivation will. Under this
ruthless, inhuman persecution, Zhao Chenglin and another Dafa practitioner still
managed to escape from the labor camp, using their wisdom. Their success dealt a
serious blow to Benxi's evil forces.
Later, due to denunciation by a corrupted person, Zhao Chenglin was arrested
again. To retaliate for Zhao Chenglin's resistance, the labor camp head Jiang
Zili, political commissar Chen Zhongwei and associate head Wu Gang, all of whom
are notorious for constantly using brutal force to persecute Dafa practitioners,
directed management section chief Li Qiang, associate chief Liang XX, and
ruthless individuals named Dong Qiang, Wang Yi, Liu Wei, Zhao Dawei and Liu
Jiangpeng and others to jointly engage in an extremely brutal, demeaning beating
on Zhao Chenglin. His head was disfigured, his chest was seriously injured and
he had difficulty breathing. After this lengthy period of beating, his mental
awareness started to show signs of being absent-minded. In order to force Zhao
Chenglin to say the nonexistent so-called "words from the heart," the
ruthless people in the labor camp used two handcuffs to hang the unconscious
Zhao Chenglin up in the dark solitary compartment. His feet were also shackled
and chained. He was hung in the air on the wall of the dark solitary
compartment. His whole body was chained in the position in the shape of the
Chinese character "I"
After these one-month-long repeated, cruel and retaliatory tortures, Zhao
Chenglin's thighs have ulcerated in many places. His internal organs are
seriously damaged; his respiration is very weak and he is on the verge of death.
In spite of these serious circumstances, the ruthless people still not only do
not offer him any treatment, but also do not ease their torture and continuously
keep him in the dark solitary compartment. It is obvious that they want to
torture Zhao Chenglin to death. This is another terrible event taking place,
sanctioned by Jiang Zemin evil forces, to murder Falun Gong practitioners.
Here we strongly appeal to kind people all over the world and the righteous
people who have powers to stop this situation from further deteriorating: Help
to stop Benxi City's Forced Labor Camp's inhuman killing! Save Dafa practitioner
Zhao Chenglin's weakening life! Please unite to condemn the leaders and
murderers in this brutal case and bring them to justice.
