German National Television Station Positively Reports on Falun Gong and Interviews German Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net ) The magnificent feat of the 36 western Falun Gong practitioners in Tiananmen Square (on Nov. 20, 2001) has been positively and objectively reported by more than fifty major or minor newspapers in Germany. A few days ago, a reporter from a TV station in Berlin asked to shoot the scene of the Berlin practitioners' weekend group practice. The reporter also interviewed a few practitioners, including some who had just returned from the magnificent demonstration on Tiananmen Square in Beijing. On the same day, some of the practitioners participating in the "SOS Global Rescue Walk" returned to Berlin just in time for this event.

Two days later, the videotape of the interview with the practitioners was broadcast on a German national TV station called "German TV Station Channel One." This was also the first time that a German TV program had shown the western practitioners' feat on Tiananmen Square. It also broadcasted the scene showing how eager the Chinese police were to dispel pedestrians who stopped to watch what was happening.

It can be clearly seen in the TV program, that just when we were sending forth righteous thoughts in front of the Chinese Embassy in Germany, three Chinese people pointed video cameras towards us. The program host explained: "When we started shooting, they went away hastily. Although these Falun Gong practitioners were under the surveillance of the Chinese Embassy in a public place, they were not afraid at all."

When the reporter interviewed Mr. Ma, the Chinese Embassy's spokesman, about the Chinese Government's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, the spokesman explained that the forced labor education is only for education and alteration. The reporter then asked: "Then do you agree with the cruel torture?" The spokesman absolutely denied that torture had been applied to Falun Gong practitioners. What a pity that the spokesman of such a great country could openly tell such a bare-faced lie to the German public in the face of so much irrefutable evidence! After Falun Gong practitioners have been clarifying the truth of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners over these two years, more and more Germans have been able to know about the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. During the truth-clarification of the persecution in China, the practitioners have documented the persecution cases investigated and verified by international human right organizations, which cannot be covered up by lies. Western people will even further realize the viciousness of Jiang Zemin's regime.
