Yang Zhicheng, director of the Planned Pregnancy Committee of the Sandaoyan Town in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, was responsible for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners in Chenjiachuan Village since July 22, 1999. He received retribution around 3 p.m. on November 8, 2001 while persecuting Chenjiachuan Village practitioners. He first had a headache and felt dizzy, and was sent to the Zhaojianian Medical Unit immediately. Later he was admitted to the County People's Hospital for emergency care, but the doctors could not save him. He died that day at 8:57 p.m. at the age of 47.
