Atrocities Committed by the Illegal "6.10 Office" and Officials in Xiantao City, Hubei Province

(Clearwisdom.net) In Xiantao City, Hubei Province, the illegal "6.10 Office" (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems) and the City Public Security Department slander Falun Dafa and Teacher. They illegally arrest practitioners and torture them inhumanely. The tortures include forced brainwashing class, coercion, handcuffing of hands and feet, sleep deprivation, repeated attacks by vicious policemen, sexual assault, hanging upside down, dousing with freezing cold water in below zero temperature, subjection to extremely high temperatures on sunny days, stinging with bamboo sticks, forced drug injections, shocking with electronic needles over the entire body, grinding with an electronic grinder over the spine, extortion to pay for the cost of the illegal persecution, forced labor camps, sentencing to jail, etc. The following is concrete evidence and data about the brutal abuse the practitioners have faced.

Liu Xiong is a male practitioner who went to Beijing to appeal and was put in jail three times. In December of last year, he went to Beijing to appeal again and was arrested before he reached Beijing. During his detention, the police from the public security department took him to a private hotel and abused him. Many policemen attacked him in turns, deprived him of sleep, and stripped him naked during severe cold weather. Policeman Zeng Jingwen used a bamboo stick to strike both of his hands. Even under such torture, Mr. Liu was still determined to practice Dafa, and he was finally sentenced to 2 years in a labor camp.

Chen Hua, female, went to Beijing to appeal and was sent to jail. Police used electric needles to sting her body, and an electronic grinder to grind her spine. The electric grinder became worn out, but the police still could not shake her determined belief in Dafa. Finally, she was illegally sentenced to 1 year in a labor camp.

Liang Zhu'an, female, is over 58 years old. She has been illegally arrested twice. In June of this year, before her second arrest, she wrote a "Solemn Declaration" to the "6.10 Office" and to the local public security department. After she was arrested and sentenced to two years in a labor camp, the labor camp rejected her admission after they learned that she had high blood pressure and heart problems. After the labor camp sent her back, the public security office asked for 8,000 Yuan for her release. Her youngest son, a graduate student at Zhejiang University, was sentenced to four years in jail because he was determined in practicing Dafa. Her elder son at Wuhan City was deprived of his freedom too. There is only her aged husband at home and where could he get the 8,000 Yuan? The "6.10" official and public security policemen sent the ill and weak Mrs. Liang to a brainwashing class where she was forced to endure metal and physical suffering, severe beating to the point of losing consciousness, and forced soaking in a tub filled with chilly water. The evil officials called this "brainwashing."

Hu Jianguo used to work at the student administration office in the City Education Bureau. His work unit, along with the "6.10 Office" and the public security department, sent him to a brainwashing class twice and detention centers twice. People said that he had been sentenced to two years in jail. In October 1999, he was arrested and detained for around a month because of going to Beijing to appeal. The second time he was sent to a detention center because he resisted giving up practicing Dafa during the brainwashing class. While at the brainwashing class he conducted a hunger strike. Because of the brutal force-feeding by policemen, his nose and mouth were filled with blood, and his life was in danger.

Sun Chuanming was put in the detention center twice. The second time he was sent there straight from the brainwashing class. Policemen had beaten him until he lost consciousness.

Tong Dongxiang was arrested 4 times and sentenced to 1 year in a labor camp.

Guo Wangnan was arrested twice and sentenced to 2 years in a labor camp.

Huang Qiaoyun was arrested twice and sentenced to 1 year in a labor camp.

Zhao Shuizhen was arrested twice and sentenced to 2 years in a labor camp.

There are more than 30 other people that had been sent to detention centers or brainwashing classes to suffer torture from one to five times each. The names of those people are omitted here. Presently, Xiao Xiaomao, Hu Jianguo, Wang Dongmei, and Sun Chuanming are imprisoned in a detention center. Their situation is very serious.
