My Experiences in Sending Forth Righteous Thoughts

I would like to share with you my experiences in sending forth righteous thoughts.

Once when I was sitting in the lotus position and sending forth righteous thoughts, a cicada, in a tree outside my window, was buzzing loudly. I thought, "Why is he buzzing in such an ugly way?" With that thought, the sound became softer and, after three more calls, stopped. From then on, no more cicadas called from the trees in the garden outside my window. My sister suggested that the cicada might have been controlled by an evil force to interfere with our sending forth righteous thoughts. From this incident I gained a deeper understanding of what Teacher meant when he said, "Dafa Disciples' Righteous Thoughts are Powerful." Since then, I have often recited the Fa-rectification verse--when walking in the street or taking a bus--and sent forth righteous thoughts whenever I have time.

One day while I was reciting the Fa-rectification verse on my way home, I heard a cicada in a tree at the roadside. I wondered for a second whether that cicada was evil; and he immediately became silent.

The sink in my house was clogged. My human mentality told me, "Perhaps the pipe underneath is clogged." But I found nothing in it. Then I wondered why. A recent article in Clearwisdom Net said that some evil beings in other dimensions have fled to the earth, some hiding in electrical outlets and other places. I wondered, "Could they be hiding in the pipes?" At the time, I was washing clothes in the sink. The moment I had that thought, the sink cleared and the water drained quickly.

The above incidents were exactly like what Teacher says in Zhuan Falun under the topic "Martial Arts Qigong": "Because this high-energy matter exists in another dimension and does not travel in our dimension, its time travels faster than ours. When you punch someone, you do not need to direct qi or think about it as the gong will be there already."

I realized that under no circumstance should we use human mentality. We should change human notions and human ways of thinking. The reasons for many things are not rooted in this dimension of ours, but are tribulations caused by evil beings in other dimensions.

Whenever we are about to send forth righteous thoughts, there will be some people or things, under the control of evil, that will produce noises to disturb us. As long as we think of shunning them from our minds, they will soon go away.

For example, one day when I was reading the books of Falun Gong on the balcony, a lady living upstairs came out onto her balcony, as well, and began to sing. I thought, "Please go back inside and sing in your room. Don't disturb my studying the Fa." She indeed went in.

I was having a conversation with a practitioner in the park. There was a man blowing a trumpet on the bridge nearby. We couldn't continue with our conversation, so I thought, "Stop blowing it and go back home." I sent that thought two or three times. He stopped, collected his things, and went away.

I was on the train to go clarify the truth in another place. A conductor came and sat very close to me. He leaned towards me and tried to start a conversation. I thought several times, "Go away and never come back" [Note: to avoid potential arrest by the authorities who are closely watching all train passengers looking for Dafa Practitioners.] He stood up, looked at me, and went away reluctantly. After a while, he came back and sat down opposite me, and stared at me. Because I had been reciting the Fa-rectification verse, he couldn't sit for long, as though there were pins on the seat. So he simply told me that we were about to arrive at the station and then left.

Teacher says in "What Are Supernormal Abilities": "A being's level is determined by his xinxing. That is, when you use supernormal abilities your righteous thoughts must be strong. Incorrect thoughts--such as fearing the evil, wavering in your thoughts when you use your supernormal abilities, or doubting whether they will work--can affect or interfere with the outcome of the supernormal abilities. " Teacher also says, "However strong the righteous thoughts are, that's how great the power is." ("Also in a Few Words") Teacher's words are the Fa. Let us do well in whatever we ought to do with a firm belief in Teacher and Dafa, eliminating the evil with righteous thoughts under the guidance of Dafa.
