Analysing Another Deceptive Story from CCTV's "News Report" (Clearwisdom.net) On the December 12th news program entitled, "News Report,"
CCTV broadcast the story of an "insane believer" who killed his uncle
with a knife. From the CCTV's description of this person, we can see that: (1) This person was not a Falun Dafa cultivator; (2) This person was mentally ill, someone suffering from hallucinations. Quite obviously, this is something similar to the "Tiananmen Square Self
Immolation" and the "Anthrax Mail" cases, yet another false
accusation against Falun Dafa. According to insider information, the mainland media is planning to launch
another round of "suicide" propaganda starting next Monday. Under the
bloodstained evil persecution, with orders such as "count any casualty as a
suicide," suicide had become a major cover-up used by Jiang's regime to
avoid its responsibilities. Acting in accordance with Jiang Zemin's order to
"defame Falun Gong using whatever means possible," the police are now
charging victims of the persecution with the crime of "suicide," while
violent acts and killing in the society are pinned on Falun Gong at will. Today's
social environment in China has deteriorated to such an extent because of the
few corrupt individuals in power. With regard to the "killing" reported on TV, the first question
would be: Was this person a Falun Dafa practitioner? On TV, we saw that, except for the book Zhuan Falun, which was placed
on top, there were other books, a few of them from Zhouyi (the Book of
Changes). Anyone who's read Zhuan Falun will understand the principle of
having a "single cultivation way." Since the person in the news report
started practicing Falun Dafa in 1994, it is hard to imagine finding any kinds
of fortune telling books in his home. Teacher said in Zhuan Falun,
"If you do not follow the requirements of the Fa, you are not a
practitioner of Falun Dafa." The second question is: How could a student of Falun Gong possibly hit
someone? The CCTV said, "The bride's face was bruised because he hit her for
destroying his Falun Dafa books." The Jiang-Luo terrorist regime had been
persecuting Falun Gong practitioners for the past two years, and countless Dafa
practitioners have been arrested, beaten, tortured, detained, and their homes
have been ransacked. Up until September of this year, there were already more
than 500 people sentenced to jail; over 1,000 mentally healthy people had been
locked up in at least 43 mental hospitals around the country and forcefully
injected with nerve damaging drugs; over 20,000 practitioners were sent to
forced labor camps; at least 100,000 people have been illegally arrested and
detained; and up to now, there have been over 300 verified cases of Falun Gong
practitioners dying as a result of the persecution (sources from inside the
government estimate the figure to be well over 1,000). Facing such brutal persecution, none of the Falun Gong practitioners have
resorted to violence. We have yet to hear of any violent events
involving Falun Gong practitioners. In a letter to her family, a female
practitioner said, "In the days and nights of my detention, the people I
see everyday are either policemen or inmates. In their rage, the police shout
and yell, not allowing me to sleep. The inmates speak with dirty language day in
and day out; they make me sleep on the wet floor. Yet I always remembered
Teacher's saying, 'Other people may treat us badly, but we do not treat others
badly.'" A benevolent person always has a heart of compassion. With no
discontentment or hatred, he takes hardship as joy.'" The third question being: How could a Falun Gong practitioner commit murder,
and how could suicide be considered reaching consummation? According to the CCTV,
the man said something to the effect that after killing his uncle he could kill
himself and rise up to heaven. This kind of talk is very familiar to us, almost
the same as what was used in the staged "Tiananmen Self-Immolation"
incident, where a number of fake "Falun Gong" practitioners on TV
shouted something like, "I want to reach consummation, I want to go up to
heaven." Falun Gong practitioners will not kill others, nor will they kill
themselves. Teacher Li Hongzhi taught us in Chapter 7 of Zhuan Falun,
"The issue of killing is very sensitive. For practitioners, we have set the
strict requirement that they cannot kill lives. Whether it is of the Buddha
School, the Tao School, or the Qimen School, regardless of which school or
practice it is, as long as it is an upright cultivation practice, it will
consider this issue very absolute and prohibit killing, this is for sure." Consummation is reached when practitioners have cultivated to truly reach the
selfless realm of truth, compassion, and forbearance; only then have they
succeeded in returning to their original true selves. This is a common concept
in various orthodox cultivation schools. It is definitely not the same concept
as death that people know of; nor is it suicide. The fourth question is: Why would a mentally ill person be in hiding? The CCTV
also reported that the person said sugar cane is poisonous, but eating apples
can counteract this poison. From a medical standpoint, this person is obviously
showing the symptoms of some type of mental illness. True Dafa practitioners
cultivate themselves nobly in normal society and have every day lives.
Practitioners need to strengthen their main consciousness, nobly cultivate from
being a good person in society, to go on and develop true compassion, pure
goodness, and great forbearance, no matter whether one is at home or in society, or
even if they are in jail. This so-called "practitioner from 1994" did
not appear on TV during the entire report, a show directed by the CCTV from
beginning to end. From the description given by the reporter, the killer had
obvious problems with speech and with getting things done. This may be because
he obviously looked deranged and the CCTV did not want him to go on the air. A
certain degree of insanity probably existed, yet it had nothing to do with Falun
Gong. The fifth question is: Why would you shoot yourself in the foot? In fact,
this is a very common problem of the CCTV. They produced the so-called
"4.25 Truth;" however, upon investigation by professionals, it
was found to be full of cuts, edits, and manipulations, all aimed at creating
false impressions. The so-called "Tiananmen Self Immolation Truth" was even
more directly planned and staged by the Jiang-Luo gang. Traces of a staged drama
could be clearly seen by analysing the recording of the CCTV's interview
program, "Focal Point". In fact, the truth is already
internationally known. The International Education Development (IED) of the
United Nations issued a statement for the record after analysing this
recording, pointing out that the "self-immolation" incident was purely
the Chinese X Party's attempt to defame Falun Gong. Unbelievably, the CCTV then
had the audacity to remove the bits in question, and continued to play this tape
to deceive the masses. An evil political gang trying to damage Zhen, Shan, Ren
(Truth, Compassion, Forbearance), it survives by relying on lies to deceive
people. But how long can this last? When the media is forcing lies, prejudice and
hatred into the people's hearts, what kind of future society will exist?
According to internal statistics of the Chinese Government, from July 1999 to
October 2000, in short two years, the number of Falun Gong practitioners who
have died from the current persecution has exceeded 1,600. No matter whether you
understand or are able to accept Falun Gong's teachings, 1,600 lives were taken in two
years, including the elderly, children, women, and youths in the prime of their
lives. These were all innocent and good natured people in society. Isn't this
extremely unacceptable? Where is appealing labelled as a crime in the
Constitution? What trouble do people make for others when they simply persevere
in their practice of Falun Gong? Developing this way, the world would sooner or
later become a place ruled by Jiang Zemin-like terrorists, and it would
deteriorate to where there would be no place for good-natured people to live. Good will always be rewarded and evil will meet with evil. If man does
not restrain himself, he will be restrained by heaven. When the truth is
