Report on 2001 Taiwan Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference
At 9:00 a.m. on December 22, 2001, the most solemn and sacred Falun Dafa
Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference in Taiwan's history was grandly
inaugurated at the Taipei World Trade International Conference Center. More than
ten huge banners reading, "The Fa Rectifies the Human World,"
"The Fa Saves Sentient Beings," "Falun Dafa is Good" and
"Falun Dafa is the Righteous Fa" etc. were hung outside of the
conference auditorium. Over three thousand practitioners attended the
conference. The splendid scene clearly showed the popularity of Dafa in Taiwan.
Ten minutes before the conference started, the practitioners sent forth
righteous thoughts to eliminate all evils damaging Dafa. At 9:00 a.m. sharp, the
conference commenced, with two masters of ceremonies reading the opening
address. Then several practitioners, including a 58-year-old lady and a
6-year-old child, spoke about their cultivation experiences. In the middle of
the conference, the Taiwanese President and Premier sent congratulatory
telegrams, respectively, congratulating the conference for its great success.
At the same time as the on-going conference, a press conference was held in
the lobby on the first floor. Six of the Western practitioners who participated
in the peaceful demonstration on Tiananmen Square recounted their experiences.
Finally, they held up the banner they had raised in Tiananmen Square and recited
together, "Falun Dafa is good. Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa" (the
banner, which read "Falun Dafa is Good," was seized by Chinese police,
but later the practitioners were able to retrieve it.).
The six Western practitioners made speeches in the afternoon and recounted
their experiences.
Music and songs were also performed between practitioners' speeches in the
morning and afternoon. Dafa music Pudu and Jishi, and songs
written by practitioners, including Rumengling, were performed.
At 5:30 p.m., the speeches ended and the conference concluded after the
video, the Song of Life was played.
