I Destroyed Vicious Defamatory Pictures in a Forced Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net) While being detained in a forced labor camp, I followed Teacher's words, "There's something I told you before. I said: What is a Buddha? 'Tathagata' is what humans call someone who's come with the truth and the power to do what he wants, whereas real Buddhas are guardians of the cosmos and are responsible for all righteous elements in the cosmos." ("Speech by Master Li Hongzhi at the Western US Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference of Falun Dafa") In face of pressure, I reported issues to the labor camp's higher authorities such as the fact that the rice and vegetables we ate were never washed, causing many people in our unit to frequently suffer from diarrhea and was detrimental to our health. No one in the forced labor camp dared to report this kind of issue to the higher authorities since the reporter would receive retaliation and be further persecuted. Although my report didn't get any response, my righteous act evoked a strong repercussion among the detainees. I won their respect and they started to respect Dafa too.

The guards became panicked with this, so they got some vicious pictures in order to deceive and mislead the detainees. I remembered what Teacher said in "Dafa is Indestructible," "Master wants to save all beings. But the evil forces are truly committing sins against Dafa by using all beings, with the ultimate purpose of destroying the beings." I decided I must destroy those pictures. Although I had some fear at that time, I became more and more determined after thinking of the Fa, and nothing could move my heart.

After the pictures were put up I went calmly and firmly and destroyed all four boards showing the defamatory pictures. My actions arose from righteous thoughts and shocked the guards and detainees, leaving the guards in a state of confusion. Later they cuffed me and hung me in the air on the flagpole. I started a hunger strike to protest this persecution. Since I didn't cooperate with the evil, I was taken down after 3 days. I saw from this experience that though the evil looked strong in appearance, it was actually very weak in essence. I again experienced Dafa's mighty power and Teacher's mighty virtue, which strengthened my steadfast belief in Dafa. Now I have walked out of the labor camp through hunger strike in an open and noble manner.
