Female Falun Gong Practitioner Qu Junli from Jilin City, Jilin Province Tortured to Death


(Clearwisdom.net) Qu Junli, female, 28 years old, was recently laid off from Xiguan Heating and Electricity Plant in Chuanying District, Jilin City. She went to appeal in Beijing (for Falun Gong) and was arrested in Tiananmen Square on October 27, 2000. Later, she managed to escape with the aid of righteous thoughts. On December 3, 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong again and was arrested. This time she was tortured to death on December 6 in Beijing.

Qu Junli had a happy family and a son who was four or five years old. People who knew her often saw her son snuggle up to her happily. Before October 2000 when she went to appeal in Beijing for the first time, she had just found a new job at a department store in Jilin City, but everything was destroyed because of the persecution campaign launched by Jiang Zemin.

We've learned that her ashes have been brought back by her family members. Further details are unknown at this time.
